I never write reviews, but I felt required to do so for this place.  This place was amazing!  Since I moved to the DC area I've been trying to find a good hair salon without much success.  The low priced places are terrible and even the $30-40 haircuts I've gotten have not been great.  And I absolutely refuse to pay $50 or more for a men's haircut.

Young's attention to detail and skill when she was giving me my haircut was honestly mind boggling.  Prior to the cut she used a bottle of water (which she warmed up first!), along with conditioner to dampen my hair.  I've never seen this done and I loved it -- my hair was getting conditioned while it was getting cut!  She also provided a great straight razor neck trim, a warm towel massage of my head, and a hair wash at the end.  I don't blame you for being suspicious of a haircut that costs less than $20, but this is the real deal.  Highly recommended!
