The comedy is great, the food is great, the drinks, while expensive, are not much higher than your average comedy club. Zanies does have two major issues though. The first is that the service is terrible. My wife asked our waitress if we could have a food menu, to which the waitress said nothing and disappeared. She then proceeded to take every other table’s order before finally coming back to us. This is not the first time I have had crappy service. She also got our checks mixed up with the people who were sitting at our table when running cards so now we both have an extra charge until the refund processes. She was just terrible all around. The other issue is the fact that there are not two separate lines for people who have and don’t have tickets. If I pay for my ticket in advance, I should get a better seat than someone who did not plan ahead. Like I said, most things about Zanies are still fine, but I feel like they struggle with the same thing the rest of Nashville struggles with: a lack of qualified staff.

Nice small comedy venue not far from Broadway in downtown Nashville. Free parking in the lot out back and reasonably priced drinks too. There is a neat loft area over the bar giving the audience a bird's eye view of the stage. Even the most distant seats are not far from the stage. A good selection of comedians come to this venue as well. I will certainly be back soon!

Comedians are excellent, the drew lynch show was my third one that I've seen here. However as others have mentioned you need to arrive early as seating is tight! Also worth noting that there is a two item minimum.

Venue isn't very spacious, particularly with a full audience. There are a lot of great acts, however. The world-famous performers (not everyone is a "comedian") at affordable prices make this place a real treasure. There's a two menu item minimum and the food is okay (typical bar fare, such as chicken tenders, nachos, French dip, etc.). Arrive early for bigger acts. You will pleasantly enjoy your visit.

Went to their new Sunday brunch show on a frosty weekend and it was completely packed. The tables are so tight but we still had a great time. Most of the comedians were hilarious and the comedy is all over the place. Food is like typical bar food and was "OK" - nothing to rave about but you're there for the show. Our server wasn't around much but we got our food pretty quickly given the size of the crowd. We'd definitely go back and would get there earlier as the line starts early!
