Fine design gallery
Located in the downtown historic district of Eureka Springs, Arkansas in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains, the town has attracted visitors for hundreds of years because of it scenic beauty and its numerous mineral springs. The first people to gather here were the Native Americans and, in the late 1880s the town flourished as a popular health spa. Today, visitors are especially attracted by its restored Victorian architecture, bed and breakfast inns, spas, fine restaurants, galleries, and shops.
At Zarks the main focus is on American blown art glass, fine silver and gold jewelry, along with sculpture and two-dimensional works. In addition, the gallery is the showcase for the work of the Studio. Sprin Street Pottery Studio, established in 1970, is one of the oldest working artist studios in Eureka.
The gallery has a comfortable and inviting ambiance and strives to provide unique, high quality work tastefully displayed and presented by a friendly and knowledgeable staff.
The staff will be happy to work with you over the phone, on the net, but preferably, in person. We are a great excuse to make a getaway to Eureka!
Zarks was opened in 1995 by Rick and Sara Armellini, who at that time also owned another gallery, Spring Wind, which they had started in 1986. The two galleries were combined in 1999 to make life a little saner and shopping a little easier.
Zarks was purchased by Sallie Overbey in the spring of 2012.
