Helpful service, good hardware selection.  What the service doesn't know they make up for with sincere effort.  The variety of hardware they carry was surprisingly large.  I think they specialize in lawn and garden.  They have a wide variety of services available too.  Also, the closest large big box store is miles and miles away so they are very conveniently located on downtown Elgin, about a block or two north of the police station on Spring Street.

Came in asked were. Are the light bulbs and the guy was so nice to te'll me the many of types of light bulbs there were and helped me with choosing this is the type of people that make the store better
