ZIPS started out as eight separate dry cleaners in the Baltimore-Washington D.C. area. In 2002, the stores united with the goal of providing a revolutionary dry cleaning experience that maintains high-quality services at one low price, for any garment.
Since then, we’ve expanded to over 50 locations across the country and have cleaned over 20 million garments for more than 500,000 customers. Our “In by 9, Out by 5” pledge promises same-day service without wavering on quality service. In fact, our quality is the same as that of full-price dry cleaners, but at a cost of less than 50% of the national average.
