ZIPS started out as eight separate dry cleaners in the Baltimore-Washington D.C. area. In 2002, the stores united with the goal of providing a revolutionary dry cleaning experience that maintains high-quality services at one low price, for any garment.
Since then, we’ve expanded to over 50 locations across the country and have cleaned over 20 million garments for more than 500,000 customers. Our “In by 9, Out by 5” pledge promises same-day service without wavering on quality service. In fact, our quality is the same as that of full-price dry cleaners, but at a cost of less than 50% of the national average. All services are prepaid so you can ZIP in and ZIP out when you pick up your clothes. We’re a win for your clothes and your wallet.

Location clean and the staff were attentive but not necessarily friendly. When I picked up my clothes and went through them they looked as if they were not cleaned only pressed. Who does that? My son's white work shirts still have the ring around the collar. I thought it was just me but this has happened several times. Wil never go back to that store.

My fiancé uses this location. Usually fast and good service, but be forewarned when it comes to alterations... he dropped off two blazers to have the sleeves taken up an inch and a half and they say on their signs that it is one price ($25 for each price) paid in full before the alterations. He did this, but when he went to pick up his blazers, he was told that he had to pay $5 extra for each item. He spoke to the assistant manager who told him that the seamstress should have called him and told him of the price change. They did not. The assistant manager offered no explanation as to why the price was different. Just said that the seamstress said it was $5 more for each item. This is a mild form of extortion considering that if he did not pay for this unexplained charge, he would not get his blazers back. This is an unethical business practice and completely shocking. It is not about the amount of money that is the thing that ticks us off, but the fact that they have posted fixed prices for services, and then when you go to pick up items they say you have to pay more without any explanation. Not cool and not a smart move on their part as a company. The company should honor their posted prices.

Unprofessional service. Disgusting leadership. Young impressionable employees (18-20 yr olds) are left to give unacceptable responses to customers' issues with their clothes not being cleaned. All types of corners are cut at this location. There needs to be a way to give this business a negative star rating. Horrible!

If i could give them a zero I would. Dropped seven items off. Two Blazers, five dresses. Three dresses were still dirty and my blazer was missing a button.

The morning staff is very friendly but the skinny guy that works the afternoon shift doesn't even greet. Extremely negative attitude..
