Very fresh sushi. The appetizers were large and can be combined for a good dinner option. The jalapeno poppers are a must. Two oysters were on the house. Attentive staff and highchairs are available.

Best sushi out of the 4 places in Monterey I've tried. Good prices and a nice atmosphere.  Just make a reservation as it is a small restaurant.

Normal this place is great.  Food is always great.  But service is hit or miss.  I felt like I was an inconvenience for them tonight.

We went for lunch.  Service was good but the fish was okay.  For example, the toro was flavorless and even chewy.  Not ideal as a dinner spot.
