I order char Shu roast pork noodle soup with fish balls at least once a week. It’s a delicious meal and a big enough portion for 2 meals for me. It is always prepared with a generous helping of vegetables and meat. The broth is rich and flavorful. The pork is lean and perfectly cooked. It’s also priced reasonably for those who can only eat out if it’s affordable. I highly recommend it.
Fried rice with chicken was so tasty. A slight hint of ginger made it special and the soy/rice vinegar sauce on the side was an awesome addition. The pork dumplings were really tasty. I ordered soup dumplings, initially but really didn’t care that the order wasn’t perfect BECAUSE THEY WERE DELICIOUS. Its a tiny noisy kitchen in a noisy venue and you place your order through the plexiglass partition. Everything was carefully packaged, hot and fresh even after taking a brief walk back to our hotel. Not sure about the review stating that it seemed like a microwaved meal? Or the one star review for a drink? I mean, come on people. So my only criticism is to implement a better way to order so that nothing is misheard and that goes for all of the vendors and isn’t worth docking stars off of the review because DELICIOUS.
Bought a peach flavored tea here once. It was the worst thing I’ve ever tasted. Threw it in the trash after one sip. Now I’ve fallen on some hard times and am hungry a lot and thinking of all the food I will enjoy after I get my paycheck, thinking about trying food I might not have been interested in before and laying in bed, watching videos of people eating just to satisfy my hunger pangs but I still have no regret throwing this drink in the trash, no matter how much I think about all the food and drinks I want to eat.
I went here for a taro milk tea and I give it a 0 out of 5. The taro at Mr. Lins is watery and just purple in color. After I received my tea and tasted it it was extremely watery and had zerooo flavor. I was told that it had green tea in it as the base after complaining when the menu clearly says milk tea . Once I told the cashier I didn’t want the purple water. I was told there was nothing that can be done. After speaking to everyone in this booth and repeating the beverage was grosss. We were then able to exchange and get passion fruit tea with bubble and it was extremely sweet. In conclusion , if you want the worst bubble tea go to Mr.Lin.
Nice local spot to have a quick work lunch. Definitely not some fancy Chinese restaurant but got a nice meal with what I paid for. And the ladies that work there is super nice and friendly.
wowcan’t believe I paid $12 for this 4 pieces of chicken. Sooooo overpriced. —————- Update after I ate: Wow, I also order two side of duck, and they use chicken to substitute duck. Change 2 stars to 1. What a shame to Asian food
If I can give this place a 0 stars I would yesterday evening I went to the city point mall to do some shopping at one point I came to this place and ordered a vegetarian meal for my husband and I . I ordered fried rice she put in eggs and I asked for vegetable dumplings and the older woman who works there gave me pork dumplings instead. I specifically told her we don't eat meat she looked me in the eye and said okay come back in 10 minutes and your order will be ready I paid fully prior to coming back after 10 minutes just to go back home and find out that she didn't care about the health request we specifically told her just veggies and she did what she wanted this place is gross plus everything looked like a Frozen microwavable meal. What a disgraceful thing to do where are the ethics at this place . They should shut them down after reading reviews I saw bugs in their food too. The Owners RESPONSE IS Such non sense SINCE I HAVE PICTURES OF THE FOOD and a recording of me talking to the woman since I didn't trust her fully though I gave her a chance anyway .It wasn't up to part because you guys lied after telling me that it will be with no meat.
Despite the elder woman there was very rude, there’s a bug in the noodle soup. I really doubt the quality of the food and overall very bad customer service.
If you really need a Chinese food fix you will not be thoroughly disappointed but after reading other reviews I wanted this place to be much better. Admittedly we got take-out so maybe it's better if you eat it there. The wonton filling was hard because there was not enough fat or veggies in the mixture although the soup was fine. The skins were mushy. The sesame noodle were overcooked and bland. There was a measly amount of meat in our three meat combination and only the duck was edible. The char sui pork was hard and the crispy pork tasted like old fryer oil. The scallion pancake was passable.
Incredible. Go with the wonton soup. The wontons are clearly freshly made, tender, and tasted exactly like they did the year I lived in Beijing. Next time I go for a supermarket run at Trader Joe's, I'll definitely stop here.
