This place is great for nightlife in Rochester. The bartenders make drinks well and the bouncer was very pleasant and understanding. Music has good variety so there is something for everyone, whether throw back or current. There’s two pool tables and several games for darts. Bathrooms are decent but the people who use them can make them gross sometimes. There is not a coat check unfortunately

This place is so much fun. It's casual but exciting, and there was a bonus drag show upstairs, that we weren't expecting when we came in, but was amazing.

Pros: Cheapish drinks, good dance music on Fridays, ample parking, fun Drag Show, EDM music upstairs, LGBT spot

Cons: No security staff, multiple reports of drinks being drugged (!), karaoke on Saturday nights when people want fun dance music instead, nasty bathrooms, small plastic cups for mixed drinks instead of typical 16oz cup at other bars.

I give 140 Alex 5 stars! nice crowd,great music and food. The bartenders,staff and the owner are very nice and friendly people.Needless to say 140 Alex is my favorite bar/club.
