I've been going to Brass Since the opening launch and the service has aways been Phenomenal! VIP Service is Top Notch. Very welcoming & attentive staff, that pays close attention to detail! I Highly Recommend Brass to anyone looking to to have a fun night out, celebrate a birthday/event,  or host a private party in Rochester! It's one of a kind

Yes! I visited brass on Nov 27th 2017 with a bunch of ladies to celebrate a few birthdays.  Part of the group was already there at a table in the VIP area of the bar. When we arrived we told the person at the door, paid our cover and went to the area.  My fiancee along with another gentleman went to the bathroom before we ordered drinks. As he was leaving the bathroom one of your bouncers corner him and starts interrogating him asking why he's back there,  he's not allowed to go back there cause it's a VIP only bathroom but we were in VIP. Then he starts questing us about wrist bands that no one had on. We were never provided one at the door. After going back and forth with the bouncer about a simple trip to the bathroom we decided to leave (he walked away as the bouncer continued to yell at him because he was tired of arguing with him about something so silly). I've worked with customers for a long time myself and service is everything to me.  The important thing is to listen to the customer not interrogate them and yell. I understand this is a club and it's loud. However it's inexcusable to treat a customer that way. We are all in our 30s and work hard to be able to have fun experiences like an occasional night out. We also know how to treat the staff wherever we go very well and tip generously.  That opportunity was taken away when we were treated like cattle. We weren't drinking yet at that point and weren't being unreasonable so that is why i left a 1 star rating.

All I can say is WOW my 1st experience at brass was exceptional. The staff was beyond exceptional very classy and attentive. The atmosphere was awesome I really loved the live saxophone player walking by the table plating to the music. I would highly recommend getting table service. I will definitely go back to this Rochester hotspot.
