Easy in from 370 and big rig friendly. We had a short unplanned stay but were very impressed. Seemed to have many activities, most for very reasonable fees. We were assisted by Hope in the front office, and she was fantastic. This will be our first choice when we pass this way again.

Just passing through and stayed for one night during the week. Easy access off the highway. This is a great city park! Level pull-through campsite. Nice lake and wished we had time for some activities . A relaxing way to end a day of long driving

This place is absolutely beautiful!! We have been here two months and are sad to leave. Very very clean, Beautiful views and plenty of fun!! You can rent bikes, kayaks, paddle boat, hang out on the covered dock for a picnic, sand volleyball, Beautiful covered area for get togethers. I could go on about this place, it's easy located and just a short drive to everything. I would strongly suggest to spend some time here :)

I come here mostly to fly my kite in the big field east of the main pavilion. Careful what you do here, they have LOTS of rules posted all over this place. Pay to use dog park, lake access, fishing. Big on RV camping. Primitive camping is very lacking and a long walk to the restrooms. Live music on Fridays during the summer and their big Celebrate St. Peters festival in September. Five mile trail around the lake is paved, clean and runs along the Dardenne creek.

A huge thunder and lightning storm passed over the park one of the nights we were staying there. Torrential rain came down in sheets and the wind was so strong it was like a bully pushing our RV around. Within minutes I saw the Park Ranger truck out circling the lot to ensure campers and their rigs were safe. That shows a true "customer first" and "safety first" attitude. I was impressed!
