I would NOT recommend this apartment as they are managed by Steven Scott, who is likely to charge you a lot after you move out.

I lived in another property managed by Steven Scott (Creekside Apartment at 200 Nathan Ln N, Plymouth, MN) for more than three years. The living experience there is good, but after I moved out, I received a big bill for extra cleaning and carpet replacement with surprise.
 
I had hired a person to do a very thorough cleaning for an entire afternoon before moving out, and got only a couple of comments during final walk-through. However, I was still charged for 6 hours of cleaning at hourly rate of $35.
 
For carpet, I was told three times I do not need to clean the carpet and it would be the responsibility of the leasing office, when I gave my move-out notice, during the pre move-out inspection, and during the final walk-through. After move out, however, they sent me a bill for carpet replacement because they claimed they cannot clean the carpet. The bill came after the carpet had been replaced, and they didn't even try to communicate their intent to replace it before the actual replacement. I think they just want to replace the carpet after the renter moved out and they would like to direct that cost to the renter.
 
I tried to work with their management to resolve this but got confirmation from their top management team that what I experienced is their standard practice. I was shocked to find this and figured they would treat other renters at other apartments they manage the same way. That's why I would like to share my experience and warn their potential customers to get prepared for this if you still choose to live in apartments they manage. Good luck!

If you want a perfect apartment in a perfect location, come to 5 Central.  I honestly can't say one negative remark about this place.  The apartments are beautiful and staff is very helpful and friendly.  We LOVE the underground heated garage and pet-friendliness.  Everything is sound proofed very well, so we hardly ever hear dogs barking or our neighbors.  The town is charming and very walkable.....and very safe with a police station next door.  Nearly everything you would want or need is on this street: a park, grocery store, restaurants, bars, gas station, vet clinics, dental clinics, and more.  It will be a sad day if we ever need to relocate.

I have lived here for two months and I could not be happier.  The apartment is modern and beautiful with everything I could need.  5 Central is extremely dog friendly and there are great places to walk around the area including a park right across the street.  It is very quiet and safe with the police department across the street.  The staff are so friendly and helpful with everything you could possibly need.  I am looking forward to making this my home for years to come.

Awesome staff to work with and an even easier move in because of the equipments provided by the staffs.  I have no complaints so far with the complex and it's in walking distance to so many wonderful restaurants.

From the first email that "nobody ever received" 8 months ago and having to blindly put down a deposit without seeing the place first because nobody would get back to me about a showing, to paying the incorrect amount of rent, sprinklers weren't installed until a month ago and I've lived here 8 months, pipes cracked in a "brand new" building an apartment over and the hallway was under construction for a month, alarms go off at crazy hours of the night wake everyone up and can't be turned off apparently by a human being that works there for an hour, shower was broken and it took over 2 weeks to fix because the maintenance guy only works once a week and ordered the wrong parts twice, nobody is in the office ever, I go down there to find it's closed early once a week so I've started sending my packages elsewhere.
Online prices aren't honest, I pay for the exact size and description online like $70 more a month for some mystery reason. I overpaid for 6 months before I found out by accident and nobody ever thought to tell me the entire time.

Bottom line: Don't live here. There are, I am sure, for over $1600 a month PLUS UTILITIES (PAID TO COMPANIES THAT CHARGE YOU TO PAY YOUR BILL) far better places to live that won't make you lose your mind. Don't do it. I can't wait to move, I'm making sure to tell everyone I know about my experiences.
