Called to report a homeless woman with a knife trying to assault my mother in a public street, they never came. We held the woman down for more then 2hrs and nothing. I kept calling but they said they couldn’t do anything because it wasn’t a real emergency. A CRAZY WOMAN WITH A KNIFE TRYING TO KILL MY MOM ON THE STREET WITH PEOPLE AROUND. We ended up taking the knife from her, and leaving her there in the street. She picked up a piece of broken bottle and kept walking. Idk if she assaulted other people, but I guess it’s not an emergency.

4/1/18 Dear LAPD, How many more Pet Dogs are you going to shoot before you get non-lethal training for your Officers? I don’t care that you have a badge and a gun, it doesn’t change the FACT that the use of LETHAL FORCE on a Pet is a COWARDLY ACT, and it’s beyond primitive, it has been getting very old, for a very long time now, not everyone buys into the propaganda that your Officers feared for their lives, this is Police Brutality on our Voiceless Citizens, our Pets are our family members. If someone shoots a Police Dog there’s a manhunt, and no stone is left unturned until they catch their suspect that harmed the Police Dog, and they’re sent to prison for a lengthy time, but what about our Pets? I’ll tell you about our Pets, they get their jaws blown off by your Police Officers. On Saturday 3/24/18 LAPD Officers were conducting an investigation in the area of the 5800 block of Willoughby avenue when they entered the home of Brett Kerby and Norma Lopez, and LAPD opened fire on the family Pet Dog. As a taxpaying Citizen of L.A. County and as an Animal Advocate, I would like to know what forms of non-lethal methods were used prior to the use of lethal force on this family Pet? LAPD Officers make too much money to carry on like Keystone Cops. Sincerely, Patty Jackson Animal Advocate

They refuse to take reports in emergencies. They falsify information regarding their officers. They refuse to investigate DCFS for neglect and child endangerment. This police department acts out fraud, negligence and corruption. I promise. They also screen their phone calls and refuse to answer calls under Bermuda's instructions. If you're Mexican they'll hire you; if not...probably couldn't snag a job here.

I've tried calling several times since my car was stolen in Dec 2016. They don't ever answer the phone. It just rings and rings and rings until it hangs up. When I went down to the station they were talking to me as if I stole my own car or something. I was 19 years old at the time, living in (still currently) Glendale, and had just flew back in from NY to discover my car was missing from my home. All they did was treat me as a suspect. I never got a police report number or copies of anything. I was distraught for a long time! I wasn't going to school and could not work. My car had been crashed, trashed on the inside b the police, had crime scence powder everywhere!! and had several bullet holes in it. All I could do is cry while they tell me it's a crime to lie on a police report. F this staff!
