Great dive bar with excellent fruit inspired drinks and fun djs.   Nicely decorated, but has too many TVs, is often too loud for a conversation, and seating isn't very comfortable.

Everything in downtown Redwood City closes fairly early, which can be frustrating (9/10pm). Luckily, 840 is just a stone's throw away, and is open late. The drinks are strong and inventive, and Kanec the bartender is friendly and so much fun to strike a conversation with! Definitely give this place a try, especially since prices here are the most reasonable I've seen in this area.

Delightful atmosphere. Good selection. Server brought my friend the wrong Sav Blanc, so perhaps double check that you are served what you ordered if there are similar wines on the menu.
