I just had probably the strangest as well as the worst bridal shopping experience I have ever had. The store was in the process of being renovated and I understood that things would be a bit out of place, but this shop was in total disarray. There was not a place to sit since one couch held a sleeping teenager and the other couch had an employee (seamstress??) who was busy eating (and dropping) potato chips.  The only other chairs in the store were piled high with coats and other things. There were food containers and garbage strewn across all the desk space. The carpets were FILTHY! I don't believe the carpets had been vacuumed in the past year. If that wasn't enough to turn us off, the shop owner spent only about 5 minutes helping us look for a dress. She knew that we were looking for a few specific dresses (we had the style numbers with us) but she kept handing us random dresses and saying that they were similar to what we were looking for. After about 5 minutes, she walked away from us and told us that we could just look through the racks. She then sat down and went back to talking with her potato chip-eating employee.

The seamstress here has no sense of time management, my prom dress had been there for two months before the event. She had to cancel 2 appointments because she wasn't done with her work. None of the tails of the seams were tied or cut off and half of the stitching came out. She frayed half of the original seams on the ruffles of my dress. The sewing was an absolute mess. She didn't put the beads on correctly and made the dress a different shape than I am. The whole point of alterations is to make the dress fit, not to have to squeeze into it and be uncomfortable.

I have been working with this shop for a couple months for wedding attire alterations. The shop owner, Farzaneh, has always gone out of her way to make sure I am happy. Having my wedding dress tailored, I have been to her shop numerous times for fittings and each time, I enjoy my visit. Farzaneh has also done the alterations on my bridesmaids' dresses and they have turned out beautifully--the quality of her work is excellent and all orders have been done in a timely fashion. I will continue to go to her for any tailoring needs post-wedding and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a seamstress.

The woman here who did my sister's dress for prom did an utterly appalling job, one I would NEVER allow if I were a seamstress. She kept it in for TWO MONTHS and gave it back to her TWO DAYS before prom, the dress looking as if it had been done by an inexperienced amateur.  And in fact, this woman handled the situation immaturely, proving herself unprofessional. Sending a young girl a dress with the seams UNDONE? A PROFESSIONAL seamstress would NEVER fix a dress and not sew the seams back together. We may have gotten our money back, but I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.
