New store with unkept customer parking. Parking area is just terribly trashy, litter throughout! Not the first time I've made this observation- once stepped out of our vehicle and nearly tripped over a soiled diaper! Really! Obviously this is customers that don't care, but in the end, it's management not making sure things are tidy and professional. Just count all the cigarette butts on the ground at the entrance. Mentioned this to the greeter at the door he said he never noticed- I said it was obvious. Apathy probably resonates throughout the store. On a positive note things inside are generally straight and orderly- however your first impression starts before you get inside!

I went to the Academy of Sports in Elizabethtown, KY and soon realized customer service representatives need to be retrained. I was looking for cleats for my 9 year old son for football and asked someone for help in measuring his feet, he said to me "the shoe measure was over by one of those benches" instead of assisting me he went back to doing whatever he was doing. Then I find another employee to assist because I couldn't find the foot measure and he was just as bad as the first guy like he had something else better to do. Maybe he did but I work in customer and I just assumed that customers were a top priority especially if the store is not busy, so In just a few words the customer service I received was horrible. I am going to tell everyone I know.....thanks for putting people first !!!!!!

Academy is by far my favorite store ever to shop at. They always have a clearance section with good prices. They have women, men, girls, and boys clothes and shoes. Everything for sports, camping, fishing, backpacks, guns, canoes,ECT. I recommend everyone to at least go in and check it out.

They undercut price match with any competition. Yes, even on firearms! The cheapest place to buy most things if you're willing to wait on their price match phone calls.

Made a trip to purchase item that was clearly stated online as " available today!" Item was not in stock aside from a display, which was not for sale.
