Beautiful campground. But don't come here expecting peace and quiet. Most of the RVs have gasoline generators running long into the night and early in the morning. It's horrible. why don't the agencies provide and require 110 hookups? There is no enforcement after 6 p.m. when the staff depart; a number of the neighboring campsites were very boisterous and unruly playing loud music and yelling till way past midnight. It is a shame that such a wonderful Resource as this has succumbed to abusive behavior by the visitors.

Really enjoyed this camp ground in Valley Springs CA. There are several different camp sites in spring valley including Acorn, but we did not stay there this time. We stayed in another site just around the corner but it was not like Acorn. I liked the campsites. They were pretty nice sizes and the cost was also nice as well. I did have a couple of complaints though. The first was the "bathroom," or should I say the outhouse. It smelled very badly that we had to make our own out of a bucket and a pool noodle. Just Google it. There was also a group next to us that stayed up all night long and we were unable to get any sleep.

This place is awesome, I went here with my mom and dad for memorial day weekend and loved it. Only downside is that at 12:30 in the morning there were people blasting music from across the lake, and we had to call the cops. But that is not the camps fault. My campsite was right next to the beach ans5was great!

the lake was really nice loved it lots of room and we were able to find a site 4th Of July weekend

Staff is friendly and helpful has a dollar General close by everyone has been very helpful.
