Beautiful area, we stayed in a dry camping area and it was great. Lots of trails and roads for trail riding motorcycles. And the best part was: no cell reception! That is how to have a weekend away!!

It was actually the first time I've gone camping and it's absolutely beautiful here. It's very quiet and relaxing, nice to get away from it all.

This is a wonderful campground right next to the Cosumnes river, which was running full and clear during our visit. There is a wooden walkway along about 3/4 of a mile of the river, with many opportunities for wading, and a few swimming holes. About halfway down this path is a large, very beautiful meadow full of purple lupine. When we were at the campground in late June, it was not crowded at all. All the Forest Service roads leading into the campground are paved and well maintained. This is a wonderful, peaceful place.

Very peaceful and very spiritual land,beautiful river, lots of beautiful pine and cedar trees. The swimming hole is a great place for children and adults, very safe for swimming. The campground is well maintained, and the campground officials are great people, and it's relatively priced for a campground...I recommend this place anytime, it's a family style place, dog friendly, and quiet. The only negative thing I would say about this place, is the fact that there's no cell service available, and they only have one payphone to make emergency calls
