Laura is really wonderful and so skilled at what she does. Laura and her team helped me get through a really rough time in my life, and now even though I feel great and have moved away, I will go out of my way to stop in for an appointment when in town. I've never had a bad interaction with office staff, and always leave the office feeling better than I did when I came in, regardless of the reason for being there! I would recommend Laura to anyone and everyone even somewhat interested in receiving acupuncture treatment.

Laura Is a standout. She is a compassionate healer who can lead you out of your maze of symptoms, attentive, re-assuring, gifted,  Her clinic is clean, comfortable, personalized. I am especially fond of her heated pads on the acupuncture table. Laura will ask a lot of questions before she customizes your treatment.  She has extensive resources, her education never ends. She comes from a family of medical professionals and teaches at UI, beyond the demands of a busy practice. She is involved in compiling a network of alternative practitioners in the area. I recommend Laura, no matter what ails you. PD

I have had back problems for years from lifting what I shouldn't. I refused recommended surgery twice and had many chiropractic treatments, which helped to a certain degree. But I was having trouble riding in the car. If I drove for more than 20-30 minutes, my right leg would go numb in part of it & have sharp pain in other parts. I had difficulty getting out of the car. I was planning a flight to Alaska & was afraid of the over 5 hour flight. Laura Christensen was referred to me by a friend and I thought "why not?". I am so glad I went. I was short of time, but was able to get two treatments in before the trip. After the first treatment I was able to ride in the car without any pain or numbness. I flew to & from Alaska, over 5 hours each time, and had no difficulty with my leg. I did not have to get up & walk the aisles as I thought I would have to do. The treatment is very relaxing with no pain what-so-ever and VERY effective. I was so happy I decided to give an alternative treatment a try!

My experiences here have all been very positive. Laura Christensen's knowledge and professionalism have helped me tremendously and keep me going back. The clinic has a very warm and relaxing atmosphere!

I felt calmed on entering Laura's office which was followed by a relaxing and healing session of acupuncture. Laura uses a Japanese style of acupuncture and is very skilled at placing the needles, which open up energy where it's needed. My condition improved rapidly -- I highly recommend Laura Christensen.
