Top notch Cleveland Restaurant. I would wager Adega is a top 5 fine dining restaurants in Cleveland, Ohio. I've dined all around the globe and I can comfortably say "The 9" offers some of the best service I've ever experienced. Arrived for a light italian dinner, greeted by a friendly staff and a bustling atmosphere. Completely fun experience while dining, too! Highlights include handcrafted cocktails made with consideration (I nervously ordered a Tom Collins but was delighted to find a bartender that very clearly knew how to properly mix this simple gin drink), and food that was intentionally prepared for a discerning palette (I am super picky and there was not a single flavor I didn't love). Chef even provided a tasting menu of-sorts, without us even asking, because we could not decide on what to order! Pasta is hand-made in-house, seafood is basically flown-in same-day (not kidding, it's super fresh). Incredible place, incredible people. Worth every penny.

The 3 stars I'm giving Adega is solely based on the quality of the food, what little I had.... I was in a group of 6 people and had reservations made for 5:45. We were going downtown for a concert at the Quicken Loans Arena and felt that it would be perfect for a good meal and within walking distance to the show. We got stuck in gridlock traffic and arrived 25 minutes late. We called to let them know and they were great about saving our table. The restaurant wasn't too busy at all. Our drinks and an appetizer order was taken right away. The drinks came out pretty quickly, as did the plate of hummus, which we polished it off quickly; it was small and there were 6 of us. Then we didn't see our waiter again for 30 minutes!! At this point, we hadn't ordered our meals or gotten any more drinks and it was less than an hour before the show started. I went to the hostess stand to ask if we could see our waiter to place our meal order. After 10 minutes he showed up. We explained that we had to eat quickly so we could get to the show and our waiter suggested that we order food that would be out fast, salads and flatbread. After 20 minutes 4 of the 6 of us had our meals and 5 minutes later the 5th meal showed up. We had to flag down our waiter again to ask for another round of drinks, we only had 1 each and we'd been there over an hour. At 7:55 our waiter brought our check and explained that the appetizer and drinks were on the house due to the slow service. I still didn't have my meal. A minute after the waiter returned the credit card and we were getting ready to leave, my food came. It was already after 8:00 so I had no time to eat it or to wait for it to be wrapped. It was a real let down because the food really was good. It's a shame weren't able to enjoy our meal and everything ended up being so rushed.

My girlfriend and I went last night to Adega to celebrate our 3 year anniversary. I can confidently say that this was THE best dining experience I have had in my entire life. Everything from the scallops, to the fettuccini + Ohio italian sausage, to the salmon, to the iberoco pork was to incredible. I highly recommend that you go to Adega ASAP to experience some of the best food Cleveland has to offer.

Had a nice breakfast here. Be sure to get a copy of the receipt if you use valet. It lowers parking from $20 to $6.
