The food came out super quick! Even my waitress was surprised it came out so quick. The first bites of my food had excellent taste. The problem was my food was cold. I am assuming they took it and microwaved it because they brought it back out and it was now lukewarm. I've been to both locations in Chicago and this location needs to improve on the quality of the food. The bar has an extensive selection and this is also a good place to watch a game if they have it on. If you are coming from the Q this is a nice place to get a bite to eat.

Beautiful place, most of the staff were very nice. However, we paid for a reserved room for a surprise birthday dinner and had to wait 40 mins for the room, almost wasn't a surprise that we planned plus once we finally got in the room we were rushed because of another party after us. So we didn't get our full time we paid for plus felt rushed. The waitress wasn't very friendly either. Maybe it was an off night for them, I don't know! Again beautiful place and most of the staff were very friendly!

We visited for the second time last evening with my husband for his birthday and again it was a terrible experience. The first time it took an hour and a half to receive our food, and it was not busy. However, our waitress (Iris) was very nice so we stayed. With that being said we had only ordered chicken and waffles.... When the food did come out the chicken was good but the waffles were mediocre at best, not what I expected for this style of cuisine and waffles being in the name. Nevertheless, as we walked out a gentleman asked about our experience, he did not sound genuine nor that he really cared. He did ask us to return. My husband did not want to. Being that my husband and I are business owners, myself a medical practice and himself a general contractor and we continue to maintain 5stars for ourselves, so we do understand how reviews can effect a business, therefore we try to give another opportunity before we review a place. Fast forward to last night. As I stated, we arrived last night to get another bite to eat for my husband's birthday before we headed in. We were greeted at the door promptly and seated. We waited 18 minutes and no one ever came to our table, not even for water. So that you may have a clear understanding, there were only 8 patrons in the restaurant. We left and will not return. We love to support our Cleveland businesses and refer for meetings, luncheons and various events. However, this establishment does not meet those standards.

Came on a Sunday morning and can't figure out where these other people are getting their 1 and 2 star reviews from. The space is modern and clean, service was fine, and the food was fantastic, which we only had to wait 10 minutes to get. I grew up in the Carolinas surrounded by soul food and this is the genuine article. The chicken isn't like fast food chains with thick, heavy breading; it's light and crispy and salty. It wasn't oily but was still super moist and flavorful in the inside. The waffle was delicate and fluffy. Easily the best chicken and waffles I've had in years. Take it from a Southerner.

My fiancee and i came here for dinner on a day trip and we were disappointed. The chicken was dry and the breading was brunt on some sections. Our waffles were flat, pale from being under cooked, and had too much cinnamon in them. Our table had several syrup spots that stained our sleeves if we reached anywhere on the table. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the interior looked lovely but it did not make up for the lack of quality in our meal.
