Im here to give you an honest review shortly after a horrific experience. If you want my horrific experience in detail read the first following paragraph. If you just want a review of what to expect for your rehabilitation process skip to the final paragraph. First of all, the staff seems experienced, attentive, and positive. My therapist I met for my session was on my level of aggressiveness to rehab a torn ACL. This was my second evaluation of the day and until things turned south, I was honestly leaning toward this group to trust with my rehab. Well here is where I would like to criticize how demeaning this group can be. After telling my therapist of my multiple visits for the day the conversation quickly became very degrading. With phrases such as "This is how I get paid, you need to pay for this visit" and throughout his barrage of statements telling me how I should not have gone for 2 evaluations in one day, all while I assured him that any charges incurred were covered by insurance, and if not I knew my financial responsibility to pay them. He did not find a reason to stop. The therapist clearly became completely disinterested. At this point I made my decision to not use the group but knowing I was already there, and not wanting to be disrespectful I stayed for the rest of my session. Here comes the kicker, the owner, whom I will not name decided to walk in. Looking very stern she decided to lecture me and try to entice an argument about my financial responsibility. After a very awkward exchange where I kept insuring her that I knew my financial responsibility and for her not to worry about my personal finances she left, clearly upset. My session ended and upon walking to the from desk, there she was, demanding a cash payment, refusing to contact my insurance and slamming a door in my face. Thank you for that treatment. Finally if you've gotten this far here is what I see the potential of this center being. If you're on medicare, non athletic, and don't require aggressive rehab this center looks great. The facility itself reminds me of a child day-care upfront, but in the back looks amazing. Great looking equipment, a retro style decor ( which I must say I loved), and a good amount of space. But their patient group was in no way a group of athletes. If a distant aunt or uncle that may have fallen out of favor needs rehab, I'm sending them here. I know they will get good care, and be allowed to argue with the unprofessional front office. To sum it up, great therapist and rehab center, if you need something to boil your blood, or are looking for a fight, the owner and front office will surely satisfy that need.

UPDATE 2014: THREE YEARS LATER, After Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) Paid them for Dozens of therapy sessions, They (APT) are now saying "I" owe them directly for 3-4 sessions, which BCBSTX Says APT MISFILED. When BCBSTX Offered, after hours of investigation, to Correct APT's Mistake and cut them a Check, "Cindy" from APT snapped that she was unhappy with the way BCBS talked to her - while they are offering to fix APT's Mistake AND Pay them! SO, BCBSTX said, my paraphrasing, "forget it - you fix your claims and refile them", which APT Never Bothered to fix as directed. Now, they are threatening to File Collections - and NOW claim 10x the cost, which they threaten to damage my credit report with! Harassing me with email, phone calls, and threatening my Credit Report - all while refusing to Fix their Claim with BCBSTX! SKIP THE DRAMA AND GO ELSEWHERE! Original Review 2011: "Nice trainers, okay staff, and decent equipment... parking is really tight, but not "exactly" their fault...4 of 5 stars"

I have been to numerous Physical Therapy offices in both NY and CT. My most important concern is finding the right therapist, knowing my insurance will pay much of the cost for my visit. I had the pleasure of being a patient of APTC after the recommendation of a friend. Not only did I find Jill Tomasello, owner and as it turns out, my therapist to be extremely knowledgable about my issues but found my bills to be equal to other offices. I felt Jill’s first concern was to make sure I had success in getting better and bill paying was the second. I return to APTC as new ailments pop up and would recommend anyone else to as well.
