Dr Bender is a really nice guy that takes his time with you and his office is always very full. It always seems to come back to the atlas adjustment though. He explains in detail how "off" you are and how that affects your body but with the painless special machine he has he can fix it if you come twice a week for up to a year. Sometimes the adjustments "held" and when I didn't feel well I was told they were not "holding" . A friend of mine got a very similar diagnosis of the " reverse buckle" in her spine. I find that very curious that we were told the same thing. Then after slow to non existent results from the adjustments ,a special upright brain MRI was ordered. He sat down with me showing the results of the MRI further justifying his reason for doing the adjustments and then he explained he could now tweak the adjustments for a better result. The neurosurgeon I conferred with said I was just fine and gave an eye roll at Dr Benders diagnosis. I would have to agree. I had no results from his treatments because I find it to be mostly hocus pocus It was a good sell though. It cost 70 dollars per visit twice a week not covered by my insurance. Although they said they submitted claims for me initially I found out they did not. I had to do it myself. Insurance paid for one or two visits only. Total waste of time and money for me. Hindsight is 20/20. Maybe some people get results just keep your antennas up for similarities in my story if you go. Then decide for yourself.

Come to Dr Bender and you will have an experience unlike other doctors offices you have been to. Dr. Bender is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and patient with every patient. He will sit with you and explain to you exactly what he is doing and why. He will answer any questions you have. He really cares about each patient; it's evident. His methodology has helped to improve me drastically. If you are considering coming to see Dr. Bender, I would strongly urge you to do so. You will not be disappointed!

HAVE NO FEAR! DR. BENDER'S HERE! All my life, people have expressed their fear of the dreaded chiropractor twisting their body and cracking their bones in potentially dangerous ways. At Connecticut Spine & Health you receive only the most sophisticated and GENTLE treatment. The surprise is how effective it is. Dr. Bender's technique of Atlas Orthology aligned my neck with an almost imperceptible touch. I have been troubled for three decades with crippling migraines. I would wake up in pain almost every morning. My visits to Dr. Bender have caused the headaches to disappear almost entirely! I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't experienced it. Also important to note is that the staff is friendly, efficient and professional. I recommend this practice highly; I have always had an excellent experience on every visit! Patricia M.
