I went to Advance Tire and Repair today 9/9/2017 and was assisted by a repair tech named Tiger. i was blogging about my customer service experience for a school assignment and thought i would copy and paste my experience as a review showing my experience at this repair shop. please see below: My most recent customer service experience that i have received was in my opinion a great job well done when it comes to our customer service topics from chapter one. I went to the Advance Tire and Repair shop to check on my fiance's truck as he had dropped it off earlier that morning for service. However, I was supposed to receive a follow-up phone call on status of the repairs and i did not, and the shop was closing at 4 pm. I could have very much well arrived at the shop with a attitude but i didn't. I must admit i was very anxious and curious as to why i did not receive a call. As i waited for assistance, I began to feel as if i was just being put off. A technician from the back then came and spoke to me apologizing for the wait and asking what can he assist me with. I then explained to him the reasoning for my arrival. I was asked if i could wait in the waiting area for about 15-20 mins while the assigned technician Tiger wrote up the paperwork for the service. I liked the way he handled the situation of identifying my needs, which calmed me down and changed my attitude from slightly upset and concerned to confident that the vehicle was left in the right hands and helped me see that even with everything that was going on at the shop, the technicians still had the mindset to assist the customer first. I then proceeded to walked to the waiting area with my 4 year old daughter. As the other technicians past by back and fourth, they were very friendly and one stopped to talk to my daughter asking her questions about the latest cartoon. another technician then walked by stating to make our selves feel at home and offer us refreshments and snacks while we waited. When our assigned technician (Tiger) approached us to speak to us about our car, I noticed he was very patient and caring. He asked us how our day was going, which made us feel special as he took the time out of his day to check on how his customer's day was going. (Which is something that is lacking in some companies. We see a great deal of poor customer service often). He approached us at our seat verse having us come up to the register. He took his time with us even though they were busy. This displayed to me a great example of customer service. Tiger (the technician) seemed knowledgeable, and very enthusiastic. Because of this he received great results and did not have to use the method of service recovery. This was my first time attending this particular repair shop and i must say, they have gained my loyalty as a customer in which i am sure this was their ultimate goal. One proud customer :)

Charged me $100 to take my door panel off and prop up my broken window... in the process lost 3 out of 5 bolts holding my door & broke the wooden side paneling of the interior. Tried covering up the broken panel by super gluing it... it fell off a day later. They didn’t mention any of this to me. WOULD NOT RECOMEND.

Outstanding service- 1/07/16, smoke was coming form my truck on I35W and had red oil/ Fluid everywhere. I called Advance Auto and Brian Whitworth went above and beyond setting me up with a tow company. Their knowledge and skill is unsurpassed resulting in excellent service. Advanced Auto replaced my transmission hose that busted and cleaned off all the oil. Due to the transmission fluid and the fact that my serpentine belt was 11 years old it was a good recommendation to replace it. My truck was ready the next day and I am very happy since it is my only vehicle for work. I have been using Advanced Auto for many years and there is no way I will venture anywhere else. The Advanced Auto team will treat you right and they care.

Awesome customer service... they are honest and never try to up sell you!!! Very clean shop and would recommend this place to all my friends and family. They service my limited edition blacktop dodge avenger better then the dealer.

Do not trust them with your vehicle! in Spring 2009 they charged me $800 for a repair for a $75 job of replacing a broken Serpentine Belt Disk. Instead of replacing the broken part, they wielded it back on which was just discovered today after it broke and left me stranded.
