Advanced Women's Health is an independently-owned medical office specializing in personalized healthcare for women. We provide primary care, gynecology services, counseling, acupuncture, and medical massage. I love this clinic. The staff, nurses and doctors are amazing. I was referred here by a friend and I've been a patient for years. Its hard to find a good doctors office but everything about this clinic is genuinely pleasant. These ladies are fantastic and work really hard. I appreciate them and the way they run their clinic!

Great atmosphere and really sweet people. I've gone there for years and used them for both primary and womens health. Really trust Michelle Dosa, she has a good heart and is professional and educated. The staff care for their patients like friends. Its very important to feel that way about your doctors. Was sick for months and they ran all the tests and were very kind and extremely prompt. Very grateful.

The staff is friendly but unfortunately, this office is not easy to deal with. First of all, they do not have a voice mail or email address you can contact them on outside of business hours. I find this unacceptable. If there is a problem or concern with my health outside of business hours, I really would like to at least leave a message via vm or email for someone to call me when they're able. Secondly, when you do call during business hours you are directed to leave a message for an MA. You CANNOT email or leave a message directly for your provider (LNP). This is frustrating because you always are communicating through a "middle man" and when the MA calls you back you can't ask any questions. The MA is not your provider and if you ask a question they don't know, they'll have to call you back. This leads to endless rounds of phone tag, especially since every time you call the office you can't reach the MA directly, you must leave a message. And... the message recording for the MA informs you that they only check these messages right before lunch at noon and at the end of the day. So if they call you and don't get you and you call them back you are not going to receive a call back until the end of the day or even the next day. This has been very frustrating, to say the least, especially since my health concerns are not "emergencies" but are important and rather urgent. It's taken me weeks to get answers regarding labwork (they don't call with any results unless they are a concern to your dr.) and appts./meds. I would recommend a clinic that is more up to date with regards to their communication and where the providers are more accessible.

I have never dealt with a billing department as incompetent and unprofessional as Advanced Women's Health. I am covered by two insurance carriers; my primary does not cover AWH but my secondary does (in full!). I didn't have my primary card with me during my visit, but assumed it would be no big deal to call afterwards and give them my info. Boy was I wrong! After calling and leaving multiple messages (I was NEVER able to get ahold of a live person) billing finally called me back and said they were unable to send my claim to my primary because they do not have a contract with them. They told me it wasn't possible and that I would just have to pay the bill. That didn't sound right, so I then proceeded to call my primary and secondary insurance carriers. My secondary told me that they were able to pay my claim, they were just waiting for my primary to deny it, so that they could take it from there. My primary told me that this clinic was crazy for saying that they're unable to send the claim to them. They said it does not matter if a clinic is contracted with them or not, sending a claim over is as easy as a phone call, fax, or mailing it. I then continued to call advanced women's health multiple times a week, leaving multiple messages, for over three weeks. No one in billing ever called me back. I finally had to call the medical assistant line just to get a live person, who then gave me an email address so I could send a picture of my insurance card. The lady said that billing was still saying that they couldn't send my claim to my primary. So I called my primary insurance carrier and got the information on how to send a claim over, and emailed it to the billing department at AWH because they were too incompetent to do it themselves. They had made no attempt to send my claim over to my primary insurance carrier (my primary verified this with me). It's as easy as looking them up online and finding their number. Billing lied to me, ignored my calls, and were content letting my claim fall through the cracks. If I wouldn't have made all of my phone calls, and handed the information over to them because they were lazy and incompetent, my claim would have gone to collections. I have never left a bad review anywhere in my life, I'm not easily disgruntled and am understanding that people make mistakes. But the lady who works in this billing department gave zero effort, even when information was given to her, and should absolutely be fired. I really hate saying that, but it's true. I hate to think of other people out there who may not have given AWH as much push back as I did, and ended up paying for their claims out of pocket. Shame on you billing, shame on you!
