Great shop, great mangement, and knowledgeable technicians.  I've been using this shop for a while now and have always been treated well by the entire staff.  They have good rates and their mechanics actually know what they are doing.  I will continue to use Affordable Auto for our families vehicle repair needs.

Update!  Still the best shop in all of the Fredericksburg region. Bradford and his team are top notch and fair.  I made the fatal mistake of using Midas on a day when Affordable wasn't open that ended up costing me $400 on a hack exhaust job.  I took it to Affordable to redo the work and they charged less than Midas and redid the entire job perfectly the way it should have been done the first time.

year experience with this repair and maintenance company. Our fleet includes a 1956 F-350 antique fire truck, a 1991 antique Chevy Caprice, a 2011 Ford Limited Edition Fusion, a 2012 Chrysler 200 sales vehicle (logging 65,000 miles per year) and a 2008 Dodge 3500 "dually" with a Cummins 6.7L diesel. Affordable keeps them all inspected , safe, and on the road. No more need be said.

Best service by an automotive shop period

I hired Affordable Automotive to do a pre-purchase inspection on a used car that I was thinking about purchasing. I live out of state so this inspection was a very important part of my decision to purchase or not purchase the used car without seeing it myself. I worked with James and he was incredibly helpful, thorough and professional. Most importantly though, he was very honest with me about the condition of the car. The used car was in great mechanical condition, but James took the time to describe all of the cosmetic issues that would add up to a large repair expense. He then left it to me to decide if the car purchase made sense for me. This is exactly how an honest and ethical business man would handle a pre-purchase inspection. I really appreciate his professionalism and would recommend Affordable Automotive to anyone looking for an honest assessment of their car. Thanks!
