Located this shop online.  The ladies were friendly and the atmosphere was professional.  I got the jumbo cornrows and was very disappointed at outcome.  I started to leave when I saw another girl getting them while I was waiting because her rows started off really big at the beginning of the row.  Someone else was doing mine so I gave it a chance. I started to get nervous when she took them out and started over a few times while I was in the chair. The finished product wasn't the length I requested (I showed her exactly where I wanted them to land), the rows were slightly spinning around different directions and when I got home I could see big pieces of hair starting to separate from the rows. I noticed it didn't look professional before I left and I asked home much would it cost to have it done over? Thinking this time I will use the mirror to guide better results.  Her reply was "the same price." Sometimes you have to be willing subtract something from the cost when you just didn't do a good job. Jumbo cornrows don't take a lot of time or skill and it maybe worth doing again for repeat customers. Therefore,  I won't be going back or recommending anyone else to this location.

I found this braiding shop online. I was looking for a less congested shop and one that was more customer friendly.  Yes it's nice and clean but their policy of bring your own hair or pay for it there is not posted anywhere in the shop.  I got my hair braid  and once the broader was finished she proceeds to tell me it $2 per pack of hair and that they forgot to tell me so they won't charge me this time but next time.  Well guess what there won't be axnext time. I've been getting my hair braided at very popular salon in PG county for over 25 years and I've never paid for hair unless it was for human hair. I think this is the worst policy you can have an then you don't have it posted at all. You don't wait til you braid the customers hair and tell them they owe more than what was quoted. You lost a great potential customer. Will never recommend this place.

I came in this shop for five feed ins.. the staff was very rude and unprofessional.. the First Lady that did my braids had them twisted to the side.. she took it out and did it twice, after that I stated I would find another shop to get my hair done at.. another lady rushes over and asks me to give them one last try.. she did an okay job but she braided so tight that I couldn't lay on my head and I had to take them out.. it felt like she was literally pulling my hair out of my scalp..  65 dollars for okay braids and after waiting there for 4 hours trying to get my braids right, I'll never return again!

Me and my daughter have been getting our hair braided at this shop for a couple of years now. Very professional and laid back, there has never been a time that I wasn't pleased with their service. Since going to Africando I don't feel like a consumer, they're like a second family.
