This place was a complete nightmare! The customer service was horrible!! The woman who did my blowout had not a clue as to what she was doing. Smh Then on top of her being incompetent she was talking to another girl who worked there in Spanish and they were both laughing and it was clear she was making jokes about me. The other girl looked at my hair and then started giggling with the woman who was doing my hair. The worst customer service and so unprofessional to say the least. I only came to them today because the place I usually go to ( which is amazing) by the way are closed on Sundays. I will never go back to this place again!!!! By far the worst staff and no professionalism whatsoever. The two girls they have doing blowouts suck!!! The WORST blowouts I’ve ever seen

I've been coming here since they have open. Carmen and her staff are awesome!! Carmen herself really has the talent doing hair not only doing hair she has a full understanding of different types of hair which is very important as a "cosmetologist," only because I myself coming from a family such as my mother who once was a licensed cosmetologist in Germany yes Germany!  Very extensive teachings that is my mother who use to do my hair such as cutting, treatments & styling. Having Carmen doing my hair now is like having my mother doing my hair. Mined you I never had such a good experience with other cosmetologist over the years doing my hair until I walk into Carmen shop. I go faithfully to her and when she is not available she has other technicians who also knows how to do  hair and they also have done my hair as well and it always turns out great! Mined those who review her poorly is a fail to the customer speak your mined let them know what you want and what you expect! Carmen is a good listener to your needs in giving you the best hair care treatment. First timers need to always remember if you don't express what your looking for your going to get what's best at that time. Also keep in mined when you haven't done good treatments to your hair your hair is pretty much at a stagnant position. Going once in the blue moon to a cosmetologist do expect not so good hair experience only because you need to go a little more having and giving your cosmetologist a chance to understand your hair giving you good treatments to your hair. Yes, we all can't frequently. However, do understand when you can go at least twice a month expect good treatment from your cosmetologist giving them a chance to understand your hair needs.

Idk how I feel about this place ... I started paying 45 not I leave and it's around $65 . They feel your hair when you walk in the door and price , so depends on the person you get I guess . All I'm saying is that Dominican blowout are suppose to be cheap , if I wanted to pay over $60 I would just go to the regular salons and get the better service and products ....

Have been coming to the bowie location since it opened. My girls are awesome and as my mother used to say - they have a "growing hand".

My ladies are nice and friendly.  Love my Dominicans mommies - especially being from New York - it's good to see same quality hair being done in a Dominican owned salon in Md too.
