Modest little shop.  Very friendly staff.  Got the African steak dinner, a chicken sambusa, and a Kenyan black tea.  The food came up immediately, so is definitely just prepared ahead of time and kept warm.  Although the flavors and spices were great (albeit a little muted) everything was very dry.  I asked for more sauce for the steak and rice dish, and was told there wasnt really any.  And the Kenyan black tea turned out just to be Lipton black tea from the box.  Definitely not the same as a Kenyan black tea. Just regular Lipton black tea, with the tags hanging out to prove it.  After sitting down, a cook did come around tha corner with a bowl of heated up sauce for my dish.  That was very nice of him, and made a huge difference in my meal.  So sad about how dry everything is, things flavors are great hiding in there.  I will try this place one more time.

Food is good, although I have never had a gyro with cilantro on it would have asked them to leave it off if I had known.

Really great sambusa. Cute, very friendly atmosphere and location despite lack of parking options.

Considering the prices, everything here is definitely worth it.  I tried the Somalian steak sandwich, which had a lot of good spices.  The samosas were good but the green hot sauce that accompanied them definitely made it for me.  Staff is friendly, definitely recommend coming here if you're in the area.
