The best diner outside of Jersey - the diner capital of the world. That may be because it was put on a train car and shipped from Jersey. I loved going here. Small, but very cozy. It was always an enjoyable experience, cramming into one of 4 booths or at the counter. Watching the cook is a treat. I was never disappointed by the food. The only complaint would be parking, their lot fills up quickly. Its a short trip too, they are very efficient, but that does not impact the quality.

I feel like this place has gone downhill over the past few years. It depends on who is working. The most recent time I was there the sunny side up egg on the One-eyed Jack were not just sunny side up, but raw. I assume most people eating there expect food in a hurry, but this was beyond. I used to LOVE their hash browns...this time not so much, also undercooked. The late night crew, however, is amazing. However, I expect more consistency in quality from a place that's been around for this long! The Mulligan stew though...you can never go wrong with that!

The nicest diner I have dined in. The Art Deco style is hard to beat. The food is great. Their blueberry pancakes are awesome. It has an awesome blueberry flavor compared to the artificial blueberry syrup. We were there a couple of times. The mornings are better time to visit. We tried french toasts, fried eggs and pork chops. All of them were perfect. Be careful, if you are visiting at late nights.

Wanted to love it, almost walked out. Sat down and was greeted and pointed to the menu which I couldn't see because it was behind something. Was mocked for this and laughed at. For some reason I stayed and ordered eggs browns and toast. While waiting for my order another customer left and the employee said to the other worker there that he looked like a "scummy lawyer." Probly not good business to insult customers but I had already ordered so still I sit. Eggs were well cooked and I liked their toast. Browns were overcooked and we're a flavor combo of burnt and too much cooking oil. I like iconic joints and don't mind a greasy spoon, but let this one go. It's not worth your time.

Food is good not exceptional but good. Employees were very nice and attentive. We got immediate seating and it was even super bowl weekend. I think everyone was was sleeping in from partying the evening before. When we left there was people waiting to sit. There are only about 4 booths the rest of seating is by the counter. Later that evening while watching TV we found out Jimmy Fallon was there to eat the same day.
