In Rockford, we get Alkhayam pita bread at Valli's Produce. It's got the best taste and texture, and it is very inexpensive. I will visit their storefront next time I'm in Chicago.

It's a grocery and casual fast dining in one. I didn't look at the grocery section but the food was pretty good. I got the shish kabob plate ($10.49), which includes rice, 2 sides (I got the hummus and something), a large pita, and some pickles. It was pretty good but I haven't had too many had kabob dishes. I just don't know why it costs as much as it does. Their prices are on par with other kabob places but I feel it can be like $2 lower but that's just me. The lady up front was friendly and helpful while we looked at the electronic menus at the front. They have seating for about 25 people and they maintain it well. I would recommend them.
