Lovely place, the ceviche and chicharrón were great! Very tasty, I’d add more spicy, but that’s optional I guess. The only suggestion I have it’s the chicha morada, quite expensive and the color is not convincing. I’d put a 4.5 if possible.
I was extremely excited to try this place because I love Peruvian and Puerto Rican food. So I thought this would be a match made in heaven. Unfortunately, the ceviche was extremely over-cured. There flavor wasn’t bad but definitely not a good representation of Peruvian ceviche. The mofongo on the other hand was good. We ordered it to be stuffed with lomo saltado. We both enjoyed that dish. I would give that dish a 4.5/5. The ceviche a 2/5 and the service 2/5. Overall, this place was just ok and a disappointment.
The mofongo mixta stuffed plaintain with seafood, steak, chicken and a delicious sauce was absolutely fantastic. You can tell everything is fresh and scratch made. I love supporting a family business and the whole crew was there, super friendly. They even treated us to a free coconut arepa! Which was warm, fresh and delicious. Plus my toddler still got her chicken nuggets and was very pleased. Definitely planning to come back to order what my husband had :
Exquisite food. Family atmosphere. Personal treatment by their own owners. Reasonable prices. A+ Parking: Ample parking in front of the business. Wheelchair accessibility: Ample parking in front of the business.
We got the churrasco chaufa, fried yuca and the California shrimp tacos. It was a great fusion! The churrasco was cooked PERFECTLY and the tacos were like having ceviche, bang bang shrimp tacos. 10/10 recommend
I went today with my family and we love it. I tried the seafood rice and it was amazing. My wife had the salteado and it was delicious as well. The owner came to the table to make sure everything was on point. I will be back for sure. AAA+
My 1st time eating Peruvian food and it was a great experience!
I like Peruvian and Puerto Rican food so I was looking forward to trying this place out. Unfortunately it was not great at either ceviche and mofungo and over priced. The service was fine and the place was nice and clean but overall a disappointment.Food: 2/5
Fish tacos and shrimp tacos were fantastic. I can’t remember ever having better. Really enjoyed the ceviche as well. Large portions as well. Can’t go wrong with the food here.
If I could rate this place a zero I would. We came around 3:00 pm for lunch and got our food at 5:20 pm. We hoped that the food would suffice for the time waited, but the food was very mediocre. The price for the food was not good either. If you’re looking for good Peruvian food go elsewhere.
