The food was good, the presentation was nice. The service was o.k, but it was way over priced. I had a Mofongo supposed to be churrasco steak but it wasn't, with spicy crab and garlic sauce. I drank water because they don't serve any type of adult beverages. I paid with tax and tip $40.00 for 1 person.
Great location for tourist food was good. Menu is little overpriced. Service was good they just need to know more of the menu when you ask them questions about the food. I would go back just to try his Paella. Also 1 dish gave for 2 people so they do serve a good amount.
Great food! Came at a time that there wasn’t a crowd…so no complain about the wait time. Yet, let’s talk about the food…the yuca pastelon was a little overcook at the bottom, BUT the carne frita mofongo is OFF THE HOOK! Price is what is expected out of Puertorrican Cuisine. Give it four star, ‘cause the owner is starting and it is trying to get the right crew for the coming demand of his delicious food.
Here on vacation and we tried them out and it was worth it. Very good food. Very good lunch special.
Very family friendly restaurant food was amazing the service was great.
They have closed this location. This place was amazing, delicious and the owner was super welcoming! Sad to see they have closed for good.
Over price , food presentation great , flavor not that impressive .
We were so disappointed. We came to eat around 6:30pm and when we arrived we were the second family at the restaurant, we didn't think anything of it. After we were greeted we immediately order our food, I did notice the family next to us have the owner or manager come and apologize and offer a dessert on the house which I didn't put mind to it. Well here comes the complete disappointed, my kids chicken tender was completely raw , you could literally still hear the chicken . I was so disgusted. My steak was completely under seasoned and partially cold. I had ordered an appetizer which it never arrived to our table. At the end we were asked also by the owner or manager if we wanted a dessert on the house, which now I know why.The bill was super high and we left frustrated and definitely not coming back.
First time I had the food it was amazing. I made the mistake of going back two other times. The second time I ordered the same thing and the food tasted totally different. I was told it was because I had a different cook. However each time I went the hostess with the beard was the same one who was our waiter and was horrible. I had to get up and walk to him to get service. The third and final time I went it was only 3 people in the restaurant and my food took an hour to come and the rice was burnt and the chicken for the mofongo was rubber like that tried to re fry it and to top it off I had a burnt egg on my biste
We were definitely looking forward to trying this place. However, it quickly turned into a dissapointment. Service was horrible, most of the things we tried ordering they were out of stock, the food took forever to come out and the place only had one table being served other than ours. The flavor or the food is definitely not impressive, nor worth the horrible service that we received. I had ordered a side of chicken after my food arrived, because I did not like the spicy crab on top of my mofongo and afted ordering pollo al ajillo, I then was served chicken tenders and fries. This place has potential if they hired servers that are both bilingual and good with attention to detail.
