Loved the community, hated the staff. I tried to sign on to a new place at a sister community as my lease came to an end (I had roommate there who wanted to continue staying, but I waned to move closer to work.) In order to do this, the staff at Allendale meadows simply had to fax over some minor paperwork that I filled out and dropped off. After a week of trying to figure out tehe paper work (which took the new leasing office (Presidential Estates in Hudsonville, great so far) only an hour to sort through and approve, I was told my paperwork was invalid. The office women are Susan, an older woman in charge, and her front desk lady Patty. Patty was not very helpful at all, she was unable to answer most of my questions and when she did answer, I would find out later that she was wrong. Both told me that I would be unable to move to the sister community and Susan was extremely rude to me on the phone. I tried to have a polite conversation but she kept raising her voice to talk over me. When I finally threatened to call corporate she screamed at me and told me that I wasn't going to get anywhere and that I was dumb and rude. Talked to the corporate office and they sorted out everything in an hour and told me everything she had said about my paperwork being invalid was false. 10/10 would not recommend living under their supervision.

It's a very pretty place! It's mostly well kept and it's next to many restaurants.

Very rude and mean front office people (especially patty), gave them a list of things that needed to be fixed and they were never fixed then tried telling us we're going to get charged for all of the repairs on those same things. Then said "we have no record of the paperwork." Mmmmm..... Also have 2 dogs since September and went to go renew the lease about a week ago and told us that we have to buy the trailer to keep our dogs or move out cause we can't have 2 dogs Unless we buy. Also Very rude and annoying neighbors. Also lock your doors and windows cause there's break-ins just about every weekend. Would never ever recommend living here ever.
