We went there a couple weeks ago and had a great experience. Staff is friendly and very helpful. The campground itself is very clean, as well as the bathrooms. The bathrooms smelled like they had just been cleaned all day. I witnessed staff cleaning the bathrooms not just in the morning but in the evening as well. The updates that where done to the bathrooms are beautiful and are some of the best I've never seen at a campground. The pool was absolutely beautiful and the water was crystal clear. The kids enjoyed playing on the playground and the arcade as well, but their favorite was the pool. We enjoyed laying in the sun watching the kids play and make friends with other kids in the pool. They also have an ice cream shop in the store with a good variety of yummy treats on those hot summer days. We needed fire wood and saw a stand with a sign for it by the store but there was no wood so I went into the store and asked if they had any more wood and they did the staff apologized and quickly went and got more wood for us. The seasonal campers were also so friendly and very helpful they made us feel right at home. if we had any questions about anything they were willing to answer them for us. Conestoga also has canoes, kayaks and golf carts that you can rent. The views of the grand river are stunning and the sunrise and sunsets will take your breath away. I will highly recommend this campground to anyone and we will definitely be camping there again soon!

I normally don't leave reviews, but this campground was extremely disappointing. My husband and I made a reservation here to go camping for our anniversary weekend. We arrived after the office was closed and found a note with our name on it showing where our site was. We drove by it 3 times, not believing that there could possibly be a site right there. They had our tent site jam packed between two RVs. I have been camping my whole life and have never seen such a crowded campsite. Kind of defeats the purpose of camping! I agree with the previous poster that the sites are about the size of a large bedroom. We would've barely had room to park our truck and have room for the tent, I can't imagine trying to fit a camper! We turned around and left and camped somewhere else for the weekend. If you're looking to get away and have any privacy at all, I would not recommend this campground.

Spent the weekend here with a few friends and had a great time. The pool is clean and the seasonals are friendly. You can as well kayak up the river to a swimming hole and swing from rope swing into the river. Great time!!

Very MISLEADING website. Where to begin. The playground is extremely unsafe, boards missing all over the place lead to jagged screws exposed throughout the play surfaced. A pirate ship with a 10 foot deep hole at the top that leads to a pit of screws. A staircase IN THE PLAYGROUND has 4 steps then DROPS off a cliff! At the bottom of that... A paved boat launch. Outdoor kitchen is all rusted grills that do not work. General store is a storage area with nearly nothing stocked. The arcade "Area" was a smoking/drinking area for a bunch of 40 year old men. The small backyard Pool was jam packed at all hours, and filled with drugs and alcohol. The owner drives around smoking weed and drinking all hours of the day and night. The sites are about the size of a large bedroom in a suburban home. My 30' camper did NOT fit here. We couldn't use our awning without covering the popup in the next site over. Ours by the way was a LARGE site but we couldn't even park our truck in the site. No room for a fire, no picnic table, or activities of any kind. people all around us were just as cramped. It was a nightmare. The park map is FAKE! There are no roads, just "Access ways" through other people's campsites. Several people were stuck in the park unable to leave, it was so backed up. Park manager was rude and refused to help. The rest of the staff are all seasonal people who seem to hate visitors. Its not worth the horror show you will suffer. DO NOT STAY HERE! We camp constently and I have never seen a worse campground in 30 plus years at this.

Friendly staff, fun stuff for kids, nice clean bathrooms too. Game room, pool, playground and lake access. Small so not over crowded.
