This place is just bizarre. They tried to make it "contemporary" at the expense of function. The room layout is poor at best. There's only 1 or 2 chairs per room and a table that's smaller than a pizza. The bath tubs are half the size of a small residential tub, so don't expect to get your top half wet. (Seriously, who doesn't install towel racks?) Check to make sure that the extremely mini fridge is plugged in. They were unplugged and warm in both of our rooms. There's no hot tub and the pool was closed. The bar was shut down during our entire stay. You will be gouged for parking, even as a guest of the hotel. Service was hit or miss, depending on who you talked to. Manager and maintenance were excellent. The other lady... Not so much. On a positive note, the beds were comfortable. Very strange experience. We won't be going back.

Good hotel. Its fairly new and so there are some communication bugs that need to get worked out. Small things. All in all its VERY close to Microsoft with easy access to the highway. Rooms are clean, and energy efficient.

Great place to stay. Friendly staff, clean sylish rooms that are very affordable. Biggest positive is they accommodate dogs. They even brought a bed and dishes for our dog so he had his own space in our room. Awesome place.

I waited some time to review this hotel, and only once I stayed at a different Aloft location did I feel comfortable sharing my thoughts. I understand that Aloft is supposed to be a little "different", but instead of innovative or economic, it was uncomfortable. I picked this hotel, as most guests probably do, because of it's proximity to the Microsoft campus. That aside, this hotel was pretty awful - starting with my teeny tiny room. The decor was nauseating, and the "alternative" everything exhausted me. From the low-effort dining experience (which does not include room service) to the motion sensor controlled lights, I found myself frustrated at the hotel almost every day of my week-long stay. Buyer beware!

Lovely modern hotel located near the Microsoft campus and just a few blocks from the freeway. We stayed here during a late week conference and had ourselves a very nice time! Upon entering we found ourselves in a standard Aloft - not as hipster as a "W" hotel but trending there. Lots of modern decor, but toned down to a point where it feels like they aren't trying too hard. The folks at checkin we're very nice. They also have a small dog near the counter. We saw it each time we left so I'm not sure if it lives here or just belonged to one of the staff. Either way it was very nice. The rooms are good size and feel like a cross between a dorm room and a hotel room. Everything trends modern but overall is very functional. The TV is good size and mounted on the wall, there's plenty of desk type space to spread out, lots of outlets to recharge the average of 7 screened items that each person has, and the beds are comfy. Tile and glass are the rules in the bathroom so everything feels very sleek - important while showering! The counter in the bathroom area isn't overly big, but it had plenty of room for my better half a stuff and for my smaller footprint! They've got free coffee, tea and fruit for breakfast in the lobby and other stuff is available for purchase. It's standard hotel expensive, but if the company is paying for it, you're good to go! Otherwise there are plenty of restaurants a block or two away. Parking is $12 per day with a couple in and outs includes. Not sure what happens for you go over the limit but it wasn't an issue for us. The place also has a pool, gym and some pretty nice outdoor space for the three weeks a year when it's not raining! This was a good spot to spend a couple nights. Close to the interstate for getting around but far enough away that there's no noise from the traffic. Rooms are comfortable and when looking in the area, it was the most affordable Starwood property. Next time we're in need of a place on the east side of the lake, this is probably where we'll end up!
