Ambiance Salon was founded and established in 1999 by Themelina Makris in Tarpon Springs Florida and has been a salon favorite in the Tampa bay area. Ambiance salon features a laid back atmosphere with the service and styles of a big name salon offering value style and customer service to every guest. The salon is nestled along Tarpon springs downtown distract giving you a nostalgic feel of any town USA. Head stylist and owner Themelina is fluent in English and Greek languages and is ready to style you next!

I am a horrible client to have. Yet Morgan has been kind, patient and understanding to my unique scheduling needs. She also does amazing work and I always feel beautiful when I leave her chair. The atmosphere of the salon is warm and inviting, conversation is always lively and humorous. Their advice is freely dispensed with no judgments that cover a vast array of topics. Some that involve hair and some that don’t. Be prepared to be treated like a human and not a source of income. These ladies know their art and have created master works even out of plain canvas like myself. Do yourself a favor and book with this salon.

These ladies are amazing! They fit me in last minute. When I got there, Morgan took her time and really listened to what I wanted. She did an amazing job and I am very pleased. I will not be going anywhere else. All of these ladies are awesome! Thank you so much!

Went in blonde more of a yellow blonde and showed a pic from their site that was platinum and specified that I really wanted platinum blonde, white blonde etc. they said they had to do all over Ashe to cover the yellow and get it where it would be platinum when highlighted . I paid for and got the Ashe blonde ( I.e. brownish green) came back in two days later for “platinum” and left yellow and brown. It’s waaaay darker than when I went in! The point was to go lighter! Very very nice people, very fair prices but I’m very disappointed and now ive paid for two trips there and have to go pay somewhere else to get my hair the color I asked for ! As she checked to see if was done she said, “ oh yes, time to rinse, that’s definitely platinum “! Ummm no . I only gave 3 stars because they are so darned nice ! the hair cut is a 4 stars, the color is a sad little 1 or 2. In fairness the cosmetologist that colored my hair wasn’t there and someone else checked to see if it was ready to rinse. When my cosmetologist returned she seemed unhappy that the other girl had rinsed. It was true the one foil that she checked was ready , but the others were not and I think if they had left it on longer I probably would have got the result that I had asked for. I would add the photos but I don’t have that option on here

Beautiful salon nestled in the heart of Tarpon Springs. The owner Thelma has been cutting and coloring my hair for more than 10 years, and has transformed me many times over and is a master. The relaxed atmosphere makes for a pleasant experience. The new stylist Morgan has now joined the team and Is amazing! She does blow outs that are he best I've ever gotten and is an amazing colorist! Highly recommended !
