Normally I'd say this place is great. I've been a patron of this theater since it opened in the early 2000's. I just have to criticize one of my more recent visits. I went to see The Last Jedi (and I know big releases like this aren't easy) on opening day. They had the 9:00 and 9:30 ticket holders crammed at the theater entrance in one line.

Everyone in line was frustrated as it was getting close to show time  and the theater staff wasn't allowing anybody past the ticket booths. They didn't let the 9:00 ticket holders in the concession are until 9:00 sharp! This meant that you had to choose between snacks or finding a good seat (in an already dark theater since the previews are already playing). That said, this was an isolated incident and I will continue to come here. I only posted this review in the hopes that it reaches the staff so they fix these problems for future release days.

This theater hasn't changed much since it opened. I won't go here for anything but matinees as they do not offer assigned seating. The ticket booth often has a line and there are very few kiosks so I would recommend using the AMC app to buy tickets. The concession stand is rather basic. They tossed one of those bars in there so you can grab an adult beverage.

Relatively clean, and conveniently located near multiple restaurants. There's also a top shelf bar in the lobby with everything from wine to a Scotch. **Note to management: The Seats need to be upgraded...bruh.

It was a typical movie theater. Good food, all the new movies, reserved seating, the 3D was normal and the IMAX was easy to hear. However, the movie theater lacked the new, more comfortable chairs. While this does save space, I prefer the more comfortable ones when watching with the boys.

Closest theatre to my house, but will only go as a last resort because for some reason they updated all their other locations but this one still has the horribly uncomfortable seats and is just getting outdated. You'll always get in to see any movie as I dont think I've ever been to a sold out one, but it's honestly better to watch at home I think... oak brook being only 10 mins away from here is a far better choice considering tickets are the same price. Please update already guys!
