For families, this is the place to go for all your cinematic needs. The price beats all others around, and the atmosphere is always very clean while the staff are helpful and friendly. Tuesdays are all-day matinee, and there are discounts for students everyday. The butter is self-serve, as are the drinks, and they now also offer free refills on small drinks as well as large. While concession prices always cut deep, it does ease the pain a little bit to know that they come with refills. As a homeschooling parent of 5, we are constantly taking advantage of attending movies during the day when the crowds are small and the lines are practically nonexistent. Thank you, AMC Pittsburg. We will continue our patronage, and sing your praises to others as we go.

Love the arm rests, the seats are comfy and the tickets are affordable. Great place to see a movie. I wish they had more/a wider selection of movies, though.

This place is fairly small and the lobby is difficult to navigate when they are busy. I feel that the price more than makes up for this though.

degrees in the theater when we entered, 78 when we left. Two thumbs down for THE HVAC system and management for thinking this is acceptable. I'll be going to Joplin next night out at the movies. I'll pay more not to sweat.

I don't know what is going on here but it's a mess. The lobby is typically a nightmare because of a recently installed drink dispenser across from where you buy popcorn and pay. So you stand in line for popcorn and to pay, then you stand in line to get a drink. When we were there recently, we had a hard time leaving because there were so many people standing in lines in the lobby. It's crazy. Another time, the audio for the preview was playing but there was no video. When I asked if they could fix it the kid I talked to said the video would start when the movie started. What?! Then once the movie started, all we could hear was the sound from the movie next door rumbling through the wall! That said, its the only movie theater in town so you're pretty much stuck with this place if you want to go to a movie, unless you want to driver 30 minutes and frankly, it may be worth it to forego the headache in the lobby.
