I’ve been going to this theatre for YEARS and I’ve never had any complaints other than the staff. I feel that the teenage staff lacks professionalism. Staff is impolite, lazy, and unprofessional. Other than staff, food is good, seats are comfortable, and theatres are pretty clean. I’ve had the same thoughts about amc Potomac mills for years until tonight. Tonight (10/22) I was in a long line at the ticket booth and there was only one cashier. I was expecting to be in line for 20 or more minutes. The cashier was quick and had the line down in less than 3 minutes. Not only was she helping with the line but she was also helping other customers at guest services. When I got to the window, she was very nice and greeted me with a smile. She did a great job at briefly summarizing each movie. She also signed me up for AMC stubs and did a great job at explaining all the perks. I don’t recall the spelling of her name but it was Cynthia with an “S”. After purchasing my movie ticket, I saw her going into the restroom to clean. I also saw the same employee answer other customer’s questions  in the hallway. She was very attentive and helpful. This theatre would have 5 stars if they had more employees like her. In conclusion, theratre is great but staff could be better.

Dropped 60 dollars just to have a fire alarm cancel my movie. Understanding that things like this can happen I find the compensation for the inconvenience to be week. Should've either matched or exceeded what I put into the evening. It will be at least a week before I will have the time to see the movie. Plus a re-admit pass doesn't cover the concession stand purchases at all. Just overall weak customer service in the face of a unfortunate event.

They always have a nice selection of times for the different movies. The shows are discounted for the matinee which is nice for graveyard shift people and the stay at home crowd.

Great place! Great food... Even has a bar. Only thing is, the food items are outrageously priced.
