Chris Cross at American freight furniture has been very helpful, and walked us through everything we needed. We have been back twice now buying a sectional couch and bed. Highly recommend this place good furniture and good service.

Seriously a bunch of jokes that work there. They are unprofessional and not Worthy of what they say. Will give you the run-around over and over. All of them are some frauds. Just trying to find another way to come up on a dollar. I wouldn't recommend this place to NOBODY!!! They will never get my service again.

This place is a joke. I wish I would have went with my initial gut feeling before spending $4,500 in this store. Nothing but hassle, lack of communication, and horrible customer service from the beginning. It started off with them "accidentally" charging us for 2 couches instead of 1 recliner and 1 couch ($400 difference). The salesman read every item on the order to us multiple times, so he either can't read or deliberately tried sneaking in the higher priced item twice, hoping we wouldn't notice. Almost 45 min later they finally get it straightened out, as no one knew how to work the pos system and the task was passed from employee to employee. I assumed they work off commission and that the same salesman would be taking care of the problem, but he was no where to be found. He had left the second he thought the sale was done. Then comes receiving the furniture. As with any furniture store, I didn't think we would be leaving with our furniture the same day, but to our surprise they said we can deliver all your items to you, today! So, we agreed as long as it was within our time frame, it would be okay, as we had prior obligations.  We were told 2 to 2 & 1/2 hrs, and that there would be a delivery fee of $80 to be paid to the driver upon arrival. We waited around for over 6hrs and kept getting told they were "going to be here shortly and had everything all loaded up". Another hour passed, so I called yet again, and was told this time "you have a lot of stuff, so it's actually going to take 2 trips". I could only imagine how long 2 trips were going to take and it was already after 7pm. So, I told them it was too late, and we would take the first delivery the next day, and they agreed.  I was expecting a box truck, or a covered truck at the least. They show up in an unmarked blue Dodge Ram. So, all of our new furniture had salt from the bed of his truck on it. We have our own trucks and trailers.  We could have picked all the furniture up ourself if this was mentioned to us, but we assumed in the middle of winter it would be a covered vehicle. I wish I could say that was the last of the problems, but here we are 18 days later and are still waiting on one last piece of furniture to be delivered.  We were never given an estimated date of when it would be in. So, I called 18 days later and was told it still wasn't in. I had to ask how much longer, and was told it takes about 14 to 21 days. So, I'm thinking just a few more days would put us at the 21 day mark, and we could finally not have to deal with them anymore, but he added "so it could be another 14 days". So I can only assume it was never ordered in the first place (no surprise there), and I just reminded them of yet another failure on their end. This is an item that has already been paid in full for, and I expect it to be in my possession.  Save your money and business for a more reputable company. Trust me, the discounts are not worth the lack of customer service and integrity you would receive at a more professional establishment.

Jason from the Decatur store happened to be working at the Washington location the day we picked up our new bedroom set. Talk about service he went above and beyond to help us find a new set since there had been backorder issues. He was very friendly and extremely helpful!!
