Absolutely terrible customer service. The full story is overly long thanks to the numerous mistakes made on the company's part, but in short: they fail to answer respond to emails informing them that I am out of the country and attempting to pay my bill, and then write two weeks later to inform me that they are imposing a late fee. When pointing out that the late fee should not be applied (considering they had already been provided with updated recurring billing information the preceding month, which they apparently failed to keep on record)--and further, that they failed to respond to my email attempting to sort out this second issue two weeks earlier--I quickly received a short reply stating simply "Company policy we do not waive any late fees." 

Why would the company ignore one email where I attempted to sort out the issue (...yet again), only to suddenly become very responsive two weeks later once they have inappropriately applied a late fee? Fortunately, as I will be visiting the city again shortly, I will surely be moving my things to a different storage facility and never use this company again.

This is the only storage unit I've rented and it was because of a job. The people here were fantastic. They helped me pick the best size unit and pushed ahead to get the free pickup done as scheduled on phone, which seemed like it was a PITA. 

Prices are average, and contractual security is there. 

Overall a nice place to have if you gotta store stuff.

The people there are always SUPER helpful. The hours of operation just suck

American self storage is the best storage company around. They have very good prices. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
