I had brought in some new wheels to replace my old ones on my 2015 Camry.  I placed two of the wheels in the cabin, behind the front seats.  This establishment carelessly removed those wheels and in so doing, put rubber scuffs on three spots on my seat upholstery.  I called them back and left a message the same day, as soon as I discovered this, and never got a call back.  They are sloppy have no respect for other people's property.  They also asked if I wanted a wheel alignment...on a practically new car with no evidence of tracking or tire wear issues???  These guys are not very honest as well.

....Going to update the review and ratings previously posted due to some poor recent experiences/shoddy diagnostic work and unnecessary work performed........

"We've been going to American Tire & Auto in Westfield for 8 years now.  They are the most efficient/cost effective and fair auto repair shop we've ever used.  Do not use the dealers.............they will save you hundreds if not thousands of dollars versus the dealer or other repair shops over the life of your vehicle.  Brian and Paul do an excellent job as service advisors.  They always do estimates and take their time explaining the issues and options when they arise.  We highly recommend them!"

These guys are the most honest and thorough mechanic shop in Westfield. They regularly recommend lower prices and are incredibly flexible with scheduling drop-off and pickup times. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

Great place with very knowledgable staff. Good customer service. Brought my 2005 Honda Odyssey to DePAX my nightmare run-flat system. Buying tires from them was worth every penny. Any problem with my tire, i immediately brought it back with no questions asked. Fully warrantied!

Been driving for a lot of years and have obviously gone to a ton of car repair shops over those years. These guys are by far the best.  Nice people.  Caring.  And are helpful especially when it's a big $ item and explaining why you do/don't need the repair.
