The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention center hosted the SPE Hydraulic Fracturing conference and exposition. The site is wonderful for a event this size. The expo is held down stairs with ample room for the booths and all the people. The conference rooms are surprisingly well insulated from the noise of the adjoining room. Two presentations are being amplified for the whole room, yet you can not hear the other room's speakers or conversation. The luncheon area gets very cramped and difficult to maneuver through the massive amounts of people when everyone is going to the same area. However, thanks to the proximity to world class restaurants we have been able to escape the masses and enjoy more secluded lunches within a short walking distance. The venue has a lot of restrooms within easy access of the conference events and each of the restrooms have been ample size creating no waits and well attended to so there were no messes. This is a great venue. Only once there was interference from the behind a curtain the distracted a keynote speaker and the audience.

We stayed at the hotel to attend my company's annual Christmas Party. Everything was outstanding. Check-in was seamless and quick, the room was clean and comfortable with a great view overlooking the waterway. The party was great! Food, bar and overall service was fantastic. We look forward to this weekend every year and I already can't wait for next year.

I didn't stay here, but I attended a meeting. It was delightful! Plenty of drink choices, easy access to bathrooms, comfortable chairs and a beautiful display. When we broke for lunch, the menu was plentiful and delicious! The view from the table was also wonderful with tall glass windows.

The hotel is moderately updated. It has a concierge lounge. There are many restaurants and good shopping near by. The rooms has Netflix built in that's cool. Not many single rooms couldn't get a king for 4 nights had to take a double room as a solo traveler double rooms kind of make me feel a bit wasteful. The water view is nice....

My sister and I stayed overnight for a girls' night out. The hotel was booked up, even two weeks prior, so we couldn't get a suite. But we did get a room on the sixth floor with a beautiful view of the Waterway. The room was great, the beds were nice, and the staff were very helpful.
