I have recently moved back to the area and was in need of a bicycle shop so I decided to give Ancaster Cycle a try. I needed to get my road bike prepared and tuned for an upcoming Italy trip. I was immediately greeted by their friendly staff who, despite being obviously busy that day, took the time to tune my bike and make the necessary adjustments in preparation for Italy, even though I didn't have an appointment. While there, I also purchased a new mirror - the type that attaches to the helmet. While cycling in Italy, I realized that my road bike was still in need of some adjustments and also for some unknown reason, the mirror part attached to the stem snapped off. After returning home, I attended Ancaster Cycle for the further adjustments and explained the situation regarding this recently purchased mirror. Without hesitation, Trevor made sure that the adjustments were quickly made to my road bike and also gave me a new mirror. Both at no additional cost. Prior to attending, I had already assumed that I would have to argue my case and at the very least was likely going to have to eat the cost of the mirror. I am so pleased to see that Ancaster Cycle stands by its service and products. Thank you Trevor for your understanding and quick resolution and ensuring customer satisfaction. Very much appreciate it.

Got a flat tire out front of store in -13*C weather. I had everything I needed, but went in and bought an extra tube. They then told me I had to go change the flat outside the store. If you want a shop that will treat you like a person, and not as a dollar sign, go somewhere else.

I don't like this shop. The atmosphere is not great and I usually will get higher prices here than anywhere else. I honestly like freewheel cycle more than you guys because of the atmosphere and lower prices.

5 star customer service. 5 star knowledge. 5 star timing. Brought a bike in form the 70's. And yes, I'm the guy that showed up 20 minutes before they closed. The guy behind the counter said "We don't carry parts for these because nobody has them anymore". Paused for a second. Went to the basement and appeared with the exact random part we needed. (Some kind of connector for an internal 3 speed gear hub) Was told it could take a few days. Was finished in less than 24hrs. Cost me next to nothing. What more could you ask for? I hope my bike breaks so I can bring these guys my business.

Trevor and the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. I have bought a couple of bikes from them over the past few years and one the reason I go back there is the service doesn't stop the second you walk out the door with your bike, they have been very helpful with upgrades and accessories to my bikes. As my ridding ability and terrain has changed They have helped me figure out which bike will work best for my needs. I travel a lot and one of the services that they offered me was to box my bike so I can take it on the plane and that helps ensure my bike gets to my destination without damage. Thanks guys you are the best and I will see you soon I'm almost ready to upgrade again. Regards Jim.
