SO I ACCIDENTALLY RAN MY CAR RIGHT FRONT FENDER INTO A FENCE POST ON NANTUCKET..BASED ON THE FEEDBACKS I'VE GOTTEN FROM REPAIRS BEING DONE HERE I DECIDED TO SEEK HELP IN HYANNIS..WITH EIGHT PLACES ON MY LIST FROM THE INTERNET, I MAKE SOME CALLS IN SEARCH OF THE ULTIMATE.. JOANNE AT ANCHOR AUTO BODY GAVE ME A MORE UPFULL ASSURANCE ON THE MATTER..I MADE ARRANGEMENTS AND TOOK THE CAR OVA..RICK, THE OWNER OF THE SHOP WAS PRESENT ALONG WITH KEITH THE SPECIALIST ON THE REPAIRS,AND JOANNE..WE MADE ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE REPAIRS AND I COULDN'T GET INTO THEIR WORK SCHEDULE FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS BUT I WAS FINE WITH THAT BASED ON THE WORK I NOTICED BEING DONE..I DROPPED OFF THE CAR ON 5/22..KEITH AND JOANNE TOLD ME THEIR WORK LOAD IS FULL BUT THEY'LL DO THEIR BEST TO TAKE CARE OF ME..I HEAD BACK NANTUCKET..FIVE OR SO DAYS PAST SO I DECIDED TO CALL AND CHECK ON MY CAR EVEN THOUGH I KNEW IT WOULDN'T BE READY..JOANNE TOLD ME THEN,THAT THE CAR WAS IN THE SHOP AND THEY SHOULD BE DONE WITH IT BY THE FOLLOWING WEDNESDAY..AT THE INITIAL DROP OFF,THE PLAN WAS TO PICKUP THE CAR ON JUNE 14TH ON MY WAY BACK FROM A GRADUATION IN ANOTHER STATE..COME FRIDAY 2/6..MY PHONE RANG..JOANNE CALLED THAT MY CAR WAS READY TO BE PICKED UP..NOW THIS WAS APPROXIMATELY 12 DAYS BEFORE THE PICKUP DATE...I WENT TO GET THE CAR AND THE WORK WAS EXCEPTIONAL..RICK THE OWNER WAS PRESENT ALONG WITH KEITH THE REPAIR SPECIALIST,AND LIZ THE OWNER'S WIFE CAME IN LATER. I HAVE OTHER APPOINTMENTS WITH THE VEHICLE IN HYANNIS AND A FERRY SCHEDULE TO MEET BY 12PM..UPON LEAVING ANCHOR THEY ASSURED ME OF THE WARRANTY ON THE CAR AND I SHOULD CALL ON THEM FOR FURTHER REPAIRS IF NECESSARY..MY OTHER APPOINTMENTS ABSORBED THE TIME SO I MISSED THE 12PM BOAT,BUT NOTICED A SMALL DETAIL/FAVOR THAT I FORGET TO MENTIONED ON THE CAR SO I RETURN TO ANCHOR..THE NEXT CARGO FERRY WAS AT 2:45PM..THE GENTLEMAN IN THE WORKSHOP THAT ASSISTED ME WAS ON TOP OF IT RIGHT AS I PULLED UP..UPON LEAVING ONCE MORE,LIZ NOTE THAT IF I DON'T MAKE THE FERRY FOR WHAT EVER REASON, AND I HAVE TO GO TO WORK,I COULD TAKE THE CAR BACK TO THE SHOP AND STORE IT THERE TILL WHENEVER,AND THEY'LL SHUTTLE ME BACK TO THE FERRY,ALL FREE OF CHARGE..THANKING THEM MULTIPLE TIMES,I HEAD TO THE STEAMSHIP AUTHORITY DOCK..I SAT IN THE CAR AND FELL ASLEEP WITH THE RADIO ON..WHEN I GOT UP I REALISE I MISSED A CALL FROM LIZ AT ANCHOR..SHE WAS CHECKING TO SEE IF I REACHED THE BOAT SAFELY.AND I KNOW THIS BECAUSE WHEN SHE DIDN'T GET ME BY CALLING ,SHE TEXTED..BY THIS TIME IT'S ALMOST TIME TO LOADING THE BOAT SO I TRIED STARTING THE CAR..IT WASN'T STARTING..THE BATTERY DIED..A MEMBER OF THE STEAMSHIP AUTHORITY CAME WITH A BATTERY PACK TO JUMP START IT BUT IT DIDN'T HELP..HE ASSURED ME THE BATTERY WAS TOAST AND HAD TO BE REPLACED FOR THE CAR TO RUN AGAIN..HE SUGGESTED A AUTO ZONE CLOSE BY..SITTING IN THE TAXI HEADING TO AUTO ZONE I CALLED LIZ TO OUTLINE THE SITUATION..SHE TOLD ME SHE WAS HEADING OUT OF HYANNIS AT THE MOMENT BUT SHE'LL CALL RICK AND HAVE HIM HELP..FIVE MINUTES LATER RICK CALLED..HE TOLD ME TO HOLD OFF ON PURCHASING THE BATTERY AND HE'LL PICK ME UP AT AUTO ZONE..I WENT INSIDE ANYWAYS TO FIND OUT THE COST AND THE OPTIONS..I WAS PICKED UP AND HEADING TO THE STEAMSHIP AUTHORITY..RICK USED HIS BATTERY PACK AND START THE CAR..BEFORE PICKING ME UP AT AUTO ZONE,HE EVEN CANCELLED A PREVIOUS APPOINTMENT..THESE PEOPLE AT ANCHOR ARE EXTREMELY EXCEPTIONAL..AND I KNOW THIS BECAUSE I MYSELF HAVE BEEN IN CUSTOMER SERVICE SINCE 1988 TO PRESENT..NEVER HAVE I SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS..THEY HAVE TRULY EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS BY 10 FURLONGS AND I RECOMMEND FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO PROVIDE THEM WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO OFFER THE SAME IF OR WHENEVER NECESSARY..
