Should have left 2 years ago when it was still Spine Care and Pain Management.They wouldn't change my medication. I had to do pshy test on an ipad almot every time I went in as well as most of the first of this year pee test every month or so Dr. Orizu' first thing was to take me off fentynal and then mess around with percocet until my insurance oked oxycontion. One month on that with percocet for breakthrough. I also have lryica and flexiril. I was discharged for verbal abuse to Dr. Orizu's staff. I called to change my appointment because the service I use was too late to get me there on time. I was told I couldn't have an appointment for 28 days. My meds have to be regular. Yeah I was upset. My voice may have raised some but I wasn't yelling. I didn't curse them then. I told them nevr mind because transport was found to get me there on time. They kept me waiting for over an hour for Dr. Orizu to come in ask "how I was doing?". Then launched into this unfortunately she was informed that I was verbally abusive to her staff and that was something they didn't tolerate here. I had to sign a paper before I was given a weening dose of my meds essentially 2 weeks worth. I asked her how I was to find another Dr. She told me call my insurance.

Dr. Orizu and her staff are professional, courteous, kind and caring. My life has changed for the better since my first visit. Dr. Orizu always takes time to listen to me and so does Brittany. I have nothing negative to say about Ancora and it's staff! I have had suggested procedures done on my back and the results have helped tremendously. I am amazed at how different this pain management office is, compared to others I have visited in the past. I plan on staying on as a patient with Ancora.

drs r hard to talk to no matter what u do u will be treated like u r an abuser .think their time is more important than yours .expect patients to b early just to wait an hour .told them my pain wasn't being controlled was never offered an epidural or other treatment.Just called me for a pill count the next week .I have to plan ahead for transportation so was released .I wouldn't wish chronic pain on the devil. but these people decided to do this as a job and seem to only want to judge u,so maybe they need to experience pain so they can know how helpless it feels.

One star is generous. I was told to be there at 7:45am for my appointment. And the email sent said to plan for a 2 hr consultation. When I got there early I was asked if I knew what time my appointment was I said 745am she said no 845am. We have our patients come in an hour early. Note​: not to fill out paperwork, because it was required a week in advance on the internet link on the appointment email. Things continued to get worse. I took my 24 year old daughter with me because I need someone to help me hear and follow through after talking to the Dr. They refused to let her come back with me.(The room was large and had several chairs so it was not a space issue).They took me back for a urine test for drugs and the toilet had a ring of mold around the water line in the toilet bowl. All The walls in the building were​ filthy! I had the worst Dr. I have ever had in my life. It was my first and last visit to Ancora Pain! Worst visit ever...Cold, rude staff and an even colder rude Dr. that kept telling me she did not have time to listen to my "life history". I was told to plan for a two hour consultation for my first visit, but the Dr. kept saying, "I have 45 min. do you want to tell me your life history or let me give you an exam." I told her, "Both I want you to have all the facts about my original injury and pain so it helps with a plan. I don't want pain meds. I want a solution!" I can not even Find the words to express the humiliating waste of time this visit to Ancora revealed itself to be! I should have known when I saw the mildew ring inside the toilet it would be a waste of time. ☹️ The Dr asked me a question about why I was there. I told her my Primary Care Dr. And I had concerns about the Dr I went to before Ancora. I tried to answer her question and she told me she did not have time for my "life history." I was just trying to answer the question she asked me. She said she did not have time to listen to "my health history and examine me." And continued with "Do you want to keep telling me your "life history" or do you want an exam?" I told her yes, I want an exam. She said she was not going to give me pain meds. I told her, "I do not want pain meds... I want a Dr who listens and helps me find solutions. Would she pls look at the MRI and tell me what my plan was." She said she had no MRI so I told her the hospital it was done at ( it was the same info I gave the office a week before my appointment). For some reason She said, "you are jumping around to much with your life story, I don't need details about your history ... You are wasting my time." I told her she is not listening to me, just like the office I left. She said..."Do you want an exam or not? I would have to know you the rest of your life to learn your life history and no Dr has time for that. Do you want an exam or not?" (Note: my Primary Care and Ob/Gyn always make time to hear all my medical concerns) I said, "I guess I want an exam." She ended the consultation with, " You can come back and see my #2 (whoever that is) in 2 weeks and she can give you a plan. I will not be giving you pain meds." I told her again, "I do not want pain meds. I want solutions." She told me the first thing I needed to do is learn how to eat properly... Eat small meals ... Often through the day. I am diabetic... I have seen a nutritionist twice. If she bothered to hear my medical history she would know this information. She said she would start me with physical therapy... If she had listened she would know I have been through physical therapy 3x and I have had an epidural 3x. With no relief. I WASTED MY TIME AND PAYED HER TO WASTE MY TIME. When they tried to give me a follow up with #2 (whoever that is) I told them not to bother I will not be returning to that office or Doctor. HELLO ANCORA, I, and my insurance company pay you to MAKE time to listen to my medical concerns. I, and my insurance company expect to receive proper, respectful, thoughtful consideration, and solutions for my medical needs. Not insults, condecending remarks, and verbal harrassment from your Dr.

Dr. Orizu and her staff are very friendly to me and have helped me come along ways. I appreciate them and have referred friends and relatives to them and will continue to do so. Thank you Dr. Orizu, Brittany, Stephanie, Tracy, Karen and the others for all you do!
