I called them to see if they had space and they didn't pick up. However I got a call back within two minutes and they asked us to come along and held a table for us. The food was good and the service was great. It has a cute, inn-type vibe going on. Great for brunch or breakfast

Hands down the best breakfast place in town! Their pancakes are amazing. The place is crowded but that's only because they're in so much demand. Thank God they now have deliver service too. The German plate and chocolate chip pancakes are my favorites. I'll take away one star because on some days they don't put as many chocolate chips and I'd like in the pancake :p

We were very disappointed with the service and the food. Our server brought a plate of bacon that looked awful. The kitchen staff and the server should have looked at the bacon and saw that it looked terrible. We tried it and found it hard and chewy. Our server did not come back to our table to ask if everything was ok. We finally had to flag her down as she walked past our table. She tried to tell us the bacon looked that way because the cut their own? The kitchen staff should never have sent the bacon out. When we went to the front counter to pay we were not asked if we enjoyed our meal. All this time the owner was sitting at a table instead of paying attention to the poor service and lousy food. Never again.

Angies is a quintessential Waterloo restaurant. From original grandmother to mother and our daughter. Servings are healthy sized and service is good. Try the butter tarts

The house specialities are really outstanding.  Good home cooked food.  A classic diner with quality ingredient.
