Bad customer service and tasteless food. We went for the lunch buffet. You pay $14.99 plus tax for a very crappy variety and taste. The only item I liked a lil bit was the butter chicken but the rest of the items were not tasty at all. The desserts were not named, which lead to some confusion but the server was busy on her phone the entire time for me to even ask her any questions regarding this. The desserts also looked and tasted old. Moving on to the customer service, it was worse than the food. The server was on her phone the entire time we were there. Not a good experience. I will however give this place one more shot and will order non buffet items next time.

Amazing flavours and fragrances. Friendly and attentive staff. Simply the best Indian food restaurant in Waterloo region. Frequented by Stephen Hawkins too!

Absolutely delicious butter chicken and paneer curries! The service is phenomenal and the owners are the kindest people. This is my go to for special occasions

(Delivery review)
Ordered two dishes for delivery. Murg Chettinad (chicken Tamilnadu style, $17), and Golden Fried Prawns ($10). Pictures show the portion size. Delivery was faster than expected, and food was still hot.
Prawn batter was soft, and seemed similar to batter used for pakora. Softness may have been due to delivery conditions. However, for $10, four relatively small prawns (shorter than length of finger) and a sad side of salad did not impress. Prawns were tasty, though probably too salty for some.
The curry had seven chunks of moist chicken breast, and filled the container around 3/4. Very tasty, with a good kick that was flavourful and not just spicy. However, for $17 before tax, especially as the menu describes this as a 'feast', and lunch buffet is probably around this price or less, the expectation was for at least a filling meal. See the pictures for the portion size. Granted, for Indian cuisine in this region, prices are often north of $12; however it does little to change the fact that for delivery, the value is hard to justify.
I expect that the lunch buffet could be much better in terms of value, assuming there is variety. The Murg Chettinad made me curious about other main dishes that Masala serves, in a positive way. However, for delivery, this place is a no.
