Probably the best fish I have ever eaten in Minnesota! This place is small, but the craftsmanship and the service are amazing. It was definitely a surprise entering the building compared to what it looks like on the outside.

They have a great selection of beer and wine, which you can enjoy while you wait for a seat. The fish is fresh and the quality is top notch. This place alone is a reason to stop in Grand Marais! The prices are moderate to high. I would recommend this place as a treat and not a quick lunch. Take your time and enjoy the view of Lake Superior and the fresh fish and wild rice.

Amazing location on Lake Superior.  Food and staff are great and fun to talk to.  Have enjoyed everything on the menu.  Need to come back to try it all.  Favorite North Shore cafe!

We have never had a bad meal here, we absolutely love it.  Their soup is amazing.  There homemade soda is refreshing and so much better than pop.  Get the shrimp burger,  you won't be sorry.  Oh and the fish, get the fish, but don't forget the soup....seriously!  YUM!

The food is pretty great, but a bit basic for the price. The homemade sodas, waffle fries, wild rice, and carrot cake are amazing. Just wish the fish had a little more going on. The deck had a breathtaking view, even if the geese (yes, not seagulls) begged the whole time. If you have a pet, you'll understand. I still highly recommend though.

The food here is amazing, healthy, and local. Plus the views are excellent and the decor is charming. I'll be back anytime I'm in Grand Marais!
